but if we win then does that mean we give Wilder a 5 year contract extension?

The transfer window hasn't even finished yet......the teams from all clubs aren't even settled yet.
I’ve seen enough to know he’s not the man for the job… should never have come back in the first place rafter the way he left.

Ollie disagrees
Mate just because we equalise it doesn’t change my opinion…he’s creating a carbon copy of the team that overplayed it before and never crossed it in , never shot but could pass it across a penalty area with the best

The only difference is we are shit out of possession this time

I know and pretty much agree. Not a popular opinion but I think he is a couple of defeats away from the boot.

So what is it?...1-0 down Wilder must go we're wank. Equalise we're better side. No danger of many keeping their powder dry
.ffs...

This is it in a nutshell. Fannys everywhere.

Think we played well mostly that half, struggling for pace a little at the back maybe.

Hopefully we don't back right off second half

1-1. Maybe Wilder is the answer now after al

It is about results first, performance second. So far this season 50/50 on results and 50/50 on performances. We've not dominated a full game just periods of each game. This half we pretty much dominated so we'll see the second half.

Defensively we seem to be getting caught out by balls over the top. Going forwards Brooks is causing them problems. Food wise, the curried vegetable pasty was mighty fine.

I reckon and its common sense really
Wilder is formulating his style with one eye on the Premier League.
He was there last season and should know what's needed.
Normally the answer is much better, more expensive players.
However we wont be spending 200 million so will have alot of this seasons players.

In the Premier league the key to success is possession and dealing with the press both in and out of possession.
Last season when our defence was under the cosh.....I'd have loved us to aimlessly knock the ball about for 5 to 10 minutes to releive the pressure.

Think Wilder calls it "taking more control of a game".

Agree though....overplaying can potential cause problems....suppose we'll see.

That was a good half, we’ve not quite clicked yet but it’s still early days

It's a great game, wide open and loads of great play. So fun to watch after last season, can't believe the moaning fannies in this thread.

I've really enjoyed that first half. Passing it around well bit sloppy at the back. Missing Mcburnie
