Strange one for us. Think we're just desperate tbh.

If we had a target man I could understand it more, but we 'aint.

Confirmed now

Nottingham Forest are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Max Lowe from Sheffield United.

Lowe, who is contracted to The Blades until 2024, joins Chris Hughton’s men for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.

So do we think we're replacing him or sticking with RND and Enda?

I'd hope we're replacing his spot in the squad with players in positions that we need i.e. in goal or midfield.

We don't need any more left backs unless we manage to sign a bloody good one
Sessegnon would do

It will be wingers coming in I think.

If Slav gets the players he needs we could have the option of playing both Wilder's old formation with a CAM and the formation SJ wants to play. Thus giving us a Plan A and B.

GLTTL - Has looked a bit of a mess defensively but he's played in a team who are a mess, so you never know. Definitely needs football and has a decent cross on him.

I was hoping it would be a permanent but on reflection the onus is on him now to make it happen and win a contract with Forest (I think Slav has probably already decided on him and thought he wasn't for us so was happy to move him on).

Also if he starts playing well then we have the option to bring him back next season (provided Forest haven't agree a loan with option to buy) or we can try and sell. Another wage off the bill for the season.

I read that Forest had to come back to us with a better financial offer so credit where its due to the negotiating team for that one. They've had enough negative comments so it's only fair to give credit if theyve batted well on a deal for us.

Sounds like we wanted to Forest to take on most of his wages.

One of our numerous left backs out and one of our many strikers (with luck two, if Burke goes) out too. The squad is already looking less unbalanced. Slav has had a look at these players, at least given them a chance, and decided they are surplus to requirements. Encouraging.

sessignon could play as a winger him on the left and diallo on the right would do nicely

Imo, it's game time for the lad - and out level, you can't say better than that, if he does well, we keep him here next year. It's money off our books for now and we're well stocked in that regard.

Another absolutely baffling signing. He is absolutely nowhere near good enough or physically capable to be a premier league left back

Hi Stegosaurus here,

How bad must Forest be if they're taking players who can't get in our shitty team?
