I'd suggest the use of the term 'snowflake' would be more fitting for those who quickly get shirty at fans who get frustrated and passionate during and immediately after games.

This happens to players and managers too.

Aye, watching grown men act like spoiled kids always makes me think they’d be great in the trenches.

Yep, Ricky’s definitely bi-polar. He’s got a good knowledge of the game and players - but it’s very obvious when he’s spat his dummy out - and it’s then tirelessly reflected in his posts.

News to me. But presumably you're an expert so I'll just take your word for it...

I’m not an expert - I consider your knowledge of players far greater than mine.

It’s patently obvious when you’ve spat your dummy out though.

I get frustrated. Is that unique?

There's 'spitting the dummy out', but attempting to definitively diagnose someone you only know through a few posts on a football messageboard as 'bi-polar' is pretty embarrassing. Maybe this is your version of losing it during a game...

It’s perfectly clear that my reference to bi-polar was in terms of your message board posting, and not a medical diagnosis.

It’s you who puts it out there. You don’t have to post what you do. Others can determine what’s embarrassing, as we’ll have to agree to differ. ;)

Maybe you're made of stone or have a very high horse.

People get carried away during and immediately after games, just like players and managers do. It's football. A little common sense and level handedness takes over the next morning with most.

I'm hardly a statto. The forum's a worse place since there's been nothing new to talk about, and since the realisation that we're just likely to repeat last season.

I disagree; I doubt statto is in the dictionary, but if it was you'd likely be our forum's closest thing - I hope you take that as a compliment, which is how it's intended.

I agree that there's less to talk about, but I think that's a good thing; I'd sooner be talking about nothing than Ched Evans' rape case or Dean Hammond's contract - in our world, no news is good news.

I don't think there's a "realisation" that we'll repeat last season either - there's perhaps a 'good chance' or 'likelihood' based on our budget or squad depth but it's by no means inevitable. The fact that you appear to think of it as a certainty is probabaly more a reflection of your psyche than anything else.

I don't mean to lecture you, I just think it's a shame that we (blades in general) don't focus on the positives (of which their are many) as much as we could/should.

"Ricky is definitely bi-polar". Ah, yes. Of course - perfectly clear.

I like to think that I can hold my nerve, yes. But my emotions do spill, I just don’t feel the need to splurge it out over the Internet in an attempt to drag the mood down on my own club.

I am currently watching Man City on tsn an American network , and the presenter is an American who is a Blades fan ?!
Anyway they are showing Brooks score a reight goal against Brighton , all 3 presenters have just said we have been robbed , and the other 2 were taking the micky out of the Blades presenter about us lacking ambition selling our best players , even the yanks know were a fuckin selling club !
Brooks scored again :(

So much possession, I would be interested to see how many shots we have on goal/on target? off the top of my head it’s that not many :(

If you get dragged down by people showing frustration on here during games, I'd clean your mirror.

I don't get dragged down, hence me not posting the negative shite that you and a few others seem to thrive on.

I like to point out the weak minded snowflakes amongst us, and there’s sadly far too many of them these days.

Erm...Okey dokey - clearly a medical diagnosis. :)

Are you feeling okay Ricky?

Better now I have a clear diagnosis...

Football fans will never focus solely on the positives for any period of time. We're no different. It's not unreasonable either.

My belief that we'll repeat last season is based purely on my judgement, as always. Only a great JTW could change that.

And if you want a statto I suggest Blades Analytics is a far greater candidate.

You could define the moaning fans as snowflakes, you could define the people moaning about the moaners as snowflakes. You could even say your post (moaning about the moaners moaning about other people moaning) is snowflake-esque too.

Or, we could all just stop calling eachother snowflakes and get back to the discussion.

I don't want them to sign anyone in January, we won't get a definite first teamer so there's not much point in signing another body.
Maybe if we save up our pennies for the next few transfer windows we can afford someone decent

Doesn't sound like we've been that magical from the radio. Even Keith Edwards has been sighing at our lack of crossing.

Youre right; we dont have to focus solely on the positives, but equally, we shouldn't focus solely on the negatives - which I think you may be guilty of at times.

I know your prediction is based on your judgement, but don't forget; your judgement is based on your mood/personality - I suspect if you were generally in a better mood, your predictions may change.
I don't want to make too many assumptions though, as it appears you've already been psychoanalysed enough...

As for Blades Analytics, you're right. I hope youre ok with a close 2nd instead. :)
