Just spoke to a chap in ticket office who advises that they have been told not to start selling due to some issues at the Portuguese end of the chain and keep an eye on website for updates.
 
Just spent a frustrating 20 mins on the website...Hope someone gets crabs as a result of their incompetence.Not bitter though.
 
I'm assuming the match is on sky so gonna watch at home.

As much as I enjoy criticising the club & sticking the boot in, I wouldn’t surprised if this is a problem not of their doing. :)

I’m not planning on going, but putting 2 & 2 together, I would suspect that another party has taken an interest in the fixture, as it’s all ticket, 1 ticket per person & only being sold to existing fans. That’s a few hurdles for a pre-season friendly, unless it’s now seen as high risk?
 



Interesting that Marítimo are yet to announce a single thing relating to United via any of their online channels.

Possibly. They are playing the much better supported Hull City Tigers at the 2k stadio nora in ferreiras on the 10th July, and the fairly comparable Peterborough at the same place as we'e meant to playing on the 18th.

They’re busy!

I’m booked for the trip and counting down the days but this bit of a ‘problem’ doesn’t bother me. It might bother a few others who have booked to stay in Portimão though :D

It’s 3 days on the piss. If there’s a game on then bonus. If not, it’s an extra few hours getting steamboated!!!
