If we are right in thinking the new sponsor is a big-name Chinese FS firm, I'd hazard a guess at JD Digits, formerly JD Finance.

Chinese investment in Sheffield appears to be shifting from western/Sichuan-based firms to those from Beijing. JD is based in the capital and has an eye on going global.
