Always avoid politics and comment on football on this thread. But just let me say:

I’ve been out all around the world, including Muslim countries, and every time they allow you to behave as you are. The taxi drivers in Sheffield don’t refuse a fare cos you’re pissed, the hard working Muslim women in Tesco, Asda, who serve alcohol and pork, the places you go that allow you to get on, like Malaysia and Southern Thailand, who have their religion, but know you are different. I’ve dated Muslim women and their families we’re open and friendly. This idea that Muslims are all strict so let’s accuse them when they allow westerners to live their life really grinds my gear. Saudi Arabia might not be the best place to live and, yes, let’s put pressure on them, but don’t read the daily mail and then pressure all Muslims to have that same strict belief otherwise they are not true Muslims. Most of them understand and live their lives.

Does my nut in to be honest.

Not going to argue about it anymore, but fucking hell, this comment is shit.
 
Not wanting to come across anti Muslim but that simply isn't true. Just look at the posts by female staff in the family stand. Trying to paint it as being bigotry is a bit of a overreaction.

The Prince clearly is either devout or wants to be seen as devout ( dry rooms in his box not letting female staff serve him etc) and i've heard from pretty good sources along those lines re sponsorship.

If its incorrect I'll gladly be proven wrong.

That’s not the point. The point is that the Prince is strict. He vetoed a sponsorship from Ladbrookes this year (that’s why ramsdens was late) and he refused to let women serve him at the Ipswich match.

You’ve jumped the gun here and brought out the faux outrage without knowing what the point is or what you’re on about, and frankly made yourself look quite a bit daft.

Not trying to be anti Berkshire Blade here but was any of those anti-Prince stories substantiated? Or were they just utter bollocks, same goes for your sources.

Until someone proves something one way or the other I'd say it's always better to defend someone to write libelous things about them online.

If we'd have had Ladbrokes on our shirts everyone would have shit the bed.

Although Ladbrokes have a large presence around the ground and are a partner so how does that work.

please by all means post your definitive proof to back these claims up

also if he is so strict surrely he would be against all types of usuary which would also exclude ramsdens as they loan and have interest which is also against the mulsim( amongst others including christianity) religion

The most provable 'story' is the young woman who was told she can't serve him I guess. Don't like being called a bigot but I'll bow out of this discussion now as it will go on and on and on and frankly I'm not that arsed.

I agree. I don’t like betting sponsors either so in that respect it’s a good decision he made

Yeah said I weren’t gonna get into a political argument here!! And please don’t get angry! But you said “women” in your reply, but it was actually “woman” a specific person, who then facebooked, what happened. It could be that a VIP visitor, gets a VIP server, and that server was the manager who was a man And if you are involved in commercial stuff, you give a higher server to a VIP guest, and that happened to be a man - maybe the Prince asked for someone who wouldn’t Facebook their experience.

It’s not faux outrage, I hear this all the time - all Muslims are strict and hate western culture.
 
It just shows how great things are at the club at the moment, we’re all getting excited over the bloody shirt sponsor! :D
