Haha! I’ve always wanted to be a fluffer! From what I’ve heard, the sponsor is an Asian (possibly Chinese) finance company, that works primarily in Oz, and their logo is a kind of riff on the Union Jack. Just hope it looks good on red and white stripes!

Not what I heard in court but who knows the truth. He said he needed ministerial approval and can sell only limited number of shares and needed money to cover other calls. Share price was in freefall, had no spare cash.
Taking £17 m from someone then offering just £ 5 m in return for it, knowing they were short of cash, and persisting with this when the club is now worth much more in the prem is shafting someone in my book.
