It really will be a shame to see a player with Freemans ability wasted by a hoof-ball merchant like Pulis.....hope the lad has good neck muscles to watch the ball fly over his head...
 
Bad move for Freeman. Can understand why he would go in terms of money but I doubt we will see the best of him under Pulis.
 
That’s will be a shame if he goes there. Would have been ideal for us - but i suspect boro will be comfortable paying the wages even if we both agreed fees.

You’d think he would considered when pulis has ever used a small tricky midfielder and that he’d be better utilised elsewhere

Take him from them, obviously. You fucking idiot.

Let's say they put him on 20k pw - and there's a good chance of that because they do seem to be moderating their spending somewhat - in that situation we should be in a position to get him next summer. Because I expect our wage ceiling to rise to around that figure - it has to.

I think that because they only had one season in the PL they only get two years parachute payments so they can’t afford to be too reckless with wages.
 
Pulis is such an arsehole. A stoneage dinasaur (Cardiac ref) who doesn't belong in the 21st Century. Our match at the Lane he spent 90+ minutes arm flapping because the ref wouldn't allow their players to bully us when we were out-footballing them. Tosser.

They've also sold Bamford for a surprisingly low fee given their lack of need to sell, and are said to be asking 'only' £17m for Ben Gibson who was touted in the £30m bracket not long ago.

I think they’ve had Leeds over. Bamford has had one good season really and never kicked on. Gibson needs a move as his career has stalled, Uncle Steve knows this.

I’ve got them down as promotion probables but I really hope Pulis and his antiquated approach fails, massively. Although Cardiff proved last season that it probably won’t.

The Bamford fee seems about right for the current market. But given that he was at Boro, it was still lower than expected - they're rich and they were selling to rivals.

Now Bamford's the main man I think he'll go and score 20+ again.

I think Boro will be up there for sure, but won't get in the top 2. And probably won't go up.

I do wish Pulis would fuck off. Football's had enough of him.

If Boro get both Freeman and Waghorn by the way I'll be fuming! And I'm not even that bothered about Waghorn.

FREEMAN TALKS END

We reported earlier today that Middlesbrough have made an enquiry for QPR’s Luke Freeman.

But talks appear to have ended abruptly, with one club source insisting the midfielder is not leaving Loftus Road in this window.

Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes also insisted on Twitter earlier this week that Freeman is “not for sale”

They've got palmer and dack I don't get why they would want him, surely they need other positions. Us on the other hand, we should be all over this at £4m
