Which one? All the ones I saw seemed to be following the lead of that HITC website.

My thoughts are that if we've been in for him a while, if he was available and we could afford him, we'd have got him by now.

I don't know why Duffy needs replacing. He was our best player last season.

Just forward planning. I agree he was our best player i would have him starting every game as last season without him we looked toothless but hes 33 in 2 months. We cant build a team around or expect him to play 46 games a season

Without being more doom & gloom after the last few days where only a derby defeat would have me lower. I have to agree that id be quite peed off if we didnt sign anyone today & ive always been the biggest advocate of trust wilder 100% regardless. But id maybe question wilder for the 1st time in his reign Ive been hoping to sign to sign freeman for 6 yrs. Pace & skill would be starter straight away

If newly promoted blackburn have bigger transfer or wage budget than us. Who have had their finalincal problems average attendance is 10000 less. Loss 16m in 16/17 & 100m+ in debt. Then we are really screwed

They've always had money though to be fair. I know they're under the Venky's now but I'm not surprised that they are splashing the cash a bit more. We've spent 4m on Egan which right now doesn't look money well spent but I think he'll prove his worth in time. Its very tempting to say we should have spent the money on Egan, on a forward instead but that doesn't solve the wage ceiling. I've joked about it on here but actually I agree we shouldn't be spending 30,000 plus on players wages yet, unless we get backing we don't seem to have. Its not sustainable and also it would ruin the existing wage structure.

Where I'm frustrated is that we've abandoned signing up and coming League One players and I think Marriott possibly Maddison too would have really added something to this squad and I would imagine both would be affordable in terms of wages.
