I think it's just the pigs making shit up.

Saw one the other day sumat along the lines of "considering they say we're shit and full of overpaid has beens, they keep bidding for our players"

Sure it's their way of pretending they're superior to us because none of them actually come to us.

I'm not even convinced we were after Winnall, sure that was a publicity stunt

I am right in what I say
And I am not going any further than giving different opinions about the football club in a controlled manner.

No name calling, no personal abuse just different opinions backed up by facts over decades of failure due to incompetent boardrooms

But some people can't control what comes out of their stupid illiterate gobs and are too thick to understand the consequences of what they say

You told me the other day you don’t get any enjoyment at all from ‘supporting’ United. I asked you why you bother then as surely you can find something better to do with your time. Care to provide an answer this time?

Also you seem to have a very strange notion of what the word ‘facts’ means.

It did go too far, it doesn't usually happen on here unless a pig is on the wind up though so if you don't like it (just like I wouldn't) sod off back to porktalk.

Why should I ?
I've explained a thousand times I'm not a pig
My opinion about how shyte we've been is my opinion, and I can give it as often as I want. It's not as though our "shitness" for generations can't be backed up with hard evidence

I'll take whatever is thrown at me and laugh about it. But there is a limit, and he/she has crossed it.

Like most people, it's a drug
The hope that one day things will be better keeps us all going

And facts are there for all too see
Name me any mid range or mid sized football club that has had less success over the last 90 odd years

Top players leave ffs.

What kind of shit is that.

Might as well have had Top players Leave (Pig)

At least it’s honest then.

Why don't you go and bounce in front of a bus pal.

It's ironic that you got upset with a new poster calling you a "nonce" on a different thread given this post.
I wasn’t upset, just pointing out the inaccuracy of his post, and the fact it was his ‘matter of opinion’.

Run along.

The last 90 odd years are in the past. At the moment we’ve got a lot to be positive about and yet you still can’t manage to say anything remotely upbeat.

I’d love to see how many of their players have seen the light and come over to us, over how many have gone to them from us?

We have certainly got the upper hand on this one.

Yet another reason why they’re deluded, mb1.

... Run along
What a response. I'm lost for words.

Said to a few pig mates after we beat them at theirs he would be the only player in their side id have at ours.. think he would fit in well with our system and offer some pace!

I can see a reason why Wilder would enquire about him but i can also see a reason why a wednesdayite would make it all up as to give them some kind of odd bragging right that we cant afford a player who some blades say they would have off their hands!

Spoke to a pig-supporting friend of mine over a pint on Saturday and it just seems like a bit of a mess regarding average players on big earnings. Joao is good, but he's not £35k a week good (if that's true). Fletcher is on approximately that amount.

£47k Fletcher

Wednesday deserve all they get, paid far too much for average players, this then has a knock on effect as average players all over the country think they are worth more than they actually are, plus the agents convincing them.

Nearly £200k a month, evry month for Fletcher ffs how many times has he played and how many goals for that return?

On the face of it, Fletcher's goals tally doesn't look too bad...but...since he came to England in 2009, that's eleven full seasons at, say 46 games per season = 506 potential games. But Fletcher has only played 249. He's an over-priced, overpaid sick-note. Just 47 games in two full seasons for the pigs. Eight years ago, Wolves paid a then club record of £6.5m to Burnley and he did fairly well for them. Then, in 2012, Sunderland went nuts and paid a considerable sum of £12m for him and his form dipped and his injuries increased. Just 23 goals and 94 appearances in four years, that's over half-a-million a goal. In the 2013-14 season, Fletcher scored on 28th December, and didn't score again that season.

TBF, the pigs got him on a free but - if the £47k a week is accurate - he's cost them just under £5m in wages. So far. Or, £407,000 per goal.

It's enough to make me consider a career change. Problem is, I'm in my 60's now and haven't played competitive football for 25 years. Even then, it was only at pub-league level. I'm still pretty fit though and I reckon I could bluff my way in down at S6. My only concern is I'd upset the dressing room, because I'd be far better than most of them and they'd be jealous.

sign himmmm , always rated him tall pacy skillfull and young ? Plus it would be great sh*thousing

Plus the oinkers have to sell players to get around ffp and out of the embargo , pretty sure he isn’t a starter ? Not sure why we haven’t had a look at him ? Strange no other teams have had a look

I'm all for a separate thread for him - his name's even spelled correctly in the title!!!

He's on the bench for them today, with Forestieri and Nooowyu starting up front.

If he's not seen as first choice, that only makes it more viable for us.

There are rumours we enquired earlier in the summer, so there's a chance we'll go back for him.

It’s worth an ask I’d say he’d be available for less than Waghorn and I’d say he’s deffo got the potential to be a better player than Waghorn

I fully agree, I’d also like to see us sign him. However, according to the earlier rumours we have already asked about him and we were told he was on £35k a week, which ended the conversation.
