We are showing far too much respect and are nowhere near the level of aggression that is required to break their flow. Losing every single 50/50 and constantly lumping the ball straight back to them.

Liverpool looking every bit the premier league champions but we are not making it difficult enough.
Spot on. We look like we're shitting our pants when we get it. Only one who has shown any composure is didzy

Any conviction in that Fleck pass and Mousset was in. Alas, it was terrible and as good as he was at City he’s been as bad tonight!

We just haven't got an outlet at the moment.
Lumping it long won't work as it just comes straight back at us.
We need to be more patient when we get the ball back. However it's probably easier than it sounds when they press us everywhere on the pitch.

The BT Sport commentary is an utter farce. Everything’s from Liverpool’s perspective. An embarrassing circle jerk for 45 minutes, non-stop about how utterly wonderful they are. FFS McManaman can barely keep it in his trousers. Why is it suddenly fine for him and Carrager to co-commentate on Liverpool, or Neville on Man Utd for the matter!!

Gonna be tough they have us totally pegged back. Could do with a bit of luck for once to get us back in it.

Liverpool are as much a longball team as people think we are. Unfortunately we look terrified and the midfield have been non existent. Let's hope for a half time wilder team talk miracle

The midfield three so ineffective on the ball as it stands.

Defensive 3 setting up nicely and it appears we're giving them nothing when they play out the back. However, when they play the long passes they're so incisive.

They have been wonderful
Not unbeatable, just wonderfully good
UTB

Can't improve on that. Spot on.

To be fair , Pool are not allowing us any time on the ball and we are responding with a lot of long ball . That Robertson is getting a bit too much space for my liking too

Well that's my 9-0 win outta the window. Gonna have to settle for 9-1. :(

Try Bein sports for a more balanced commentary!

Pool stronger in every dept, passing, moving with the ball, pressing hard when they dont have the ball.

Our long balls are shocking never find a white shirt, and all loose balls seem to be falling to red shirts.

Lunny looks like a small child at the fair. Desperate to score and not doing any of his job. Fleck looks lost. Needs to be a lot better second half. We need to keep concentration extremely high as any defensive errors basically looks like giving them a goal. Going to be a hard 45 minutes.

Very easy to say when you see where the ball is hit to. He’s been put in the shit by an uncharacteristic Baldock error, and probably felt he had to gamble on getting to the cross or closing the angle down. Not an error in my book.

A player slipping over isn’t an error, it’s just unfortunate. I know you probably weren’t laying too much blame down but just wanted to point that out

I think our 3 middies look half a yard off the pace with Fleck being caught on the ball a number of times

Closed down very quickly limiting our options

We need to step it up to have any chance of making a fist of it

Come on Blades let’s give em a game

I would change to 4-4-2.
