Liverpool sure as hell is not gonna underestimate us, especially after our performance against City. That being said, it's gonna be a hard. Liverpool is so perfectly organized. Barely make no mistakes and have that quality to decide a game with in a second. We got a lot of chances at home tho, so let's see how we do at anfield.

Really hope you get a result there tomorrow. Can't believe they'll go the season unbeaten & why not it, be you?
Of course, they have some really outstanding players & appear to get most var in their favour but, it's still 11 v 11.
Will be a very interesting test for you.

A bit of luck.

+

A continuation of our high standards (and the right team for the job).

+

An off colour Liverpool team.

=

You never know 😀.

COYRAWW.

Anyone remember how lowly teams would get a boost from playing against us at Bramall Lane in the pub league?
The Blades performance against City was worth a point at least. Better atmosphere at Anfield.
Hendo is not the only one with a point to prove tonight.

This is the one, the McGoldrick goal shall be converted and, after much VARRING, eventually confirmed.

Win and we're 5th.

Lose and we stay 8th.

I feel we can upset the apple cart a bit, but it'll be tough.

Is Mouss injured? He's not included in any goalscorer markets on my betting app that's all. Maybe they're in the know 🤷‍♂️

So after the solid performance, and unfortunate result at Manchester City on Sunday, we arguably face an even tougher away trip this evening to Anfield. Liverpool to were involved in VAR controversy, but unsurprisingly derision fell in their favour...

Apart from the obvious fact that they are a superb side, with a fantastic manager on an unbelievable run of form, it'd be nice for the result tonight to not be overshadowed by VAR....

Anyway...

Any team news? ;)

Seemingly Lundstram may be fit to return?

Same again up front...

Perhaps not start Robinson this time?

The only elements of hope for tonight are.. we don't often lose 2 in a row, Liverpool have played a number of games in the last 5 weeks, and they have a big FA cup game coming up. All said and done, I'd love us to frustrate them with let's say a 1-1, but realistic we lose tonight. 2-0 wouldn't be a disaster... :(

Travel safe Blades

Get it all crossed lads n lasses, we can do this, we just need to believe and hope VAR is broken tonight!!!
COYRAWW!!!!!!!

Hendo
Bash Egan JOC
Baldock Besic Norwood Fleck Stevens
Mousset McGoldrick

Go with that.

I don't want us to start without Mousset (and McGoldrick) because we'll look a bit pathetic.

There's a chance of a draw here. But a carbon copy of City would seem likely.

Law of averages can work for us. We got our first defeat out of the way last match! They have to lose some time.

They must be knackered.

McGoldrick has the law of averages and the law of 'deserving cases' on his side and has to score soon.

We have to get a VAR break soon.

Hope Origi, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Lallana, Adrian or Mignolet, Shaqiri and Salah play ( the latter is way off form!!!)

Hope Mane, Arnold, Robertson, Firminio, Gomez, Allison, Van Dijk, Henderson, Milner don't play.

Not happy that Tierney is the ref. Friend on the screen is at least experienced. Surely the officials are sensitive to the LiVARpool trending.

We have the best anthem at Kick Off!

Last time at Anfield in the P.L. Gerrard cheated 2 penalties and VAR would have disallowed both. I even think it was Mike Reilly as referee from hazy memory. Gerrard told Reilly to watch him and Kozluk who did nothing but get dragged to the ground, the ref obliged. First one was a blatant dive.

All points to an away win with help from VAR!!

They must be knackered but will not pick a weak team. Man City played all their top men against us and fielded 4 fringe players v Everton.

Whichever way ot goes, it's simply great to be part of it all, where we fans belong. Oh, and our manager has all his own teeth!!! And so does our No.9!!!

Shaqiri is out injured unfortunately.
