Sheffield United: Tom Davies joins after leaving Everton
Tom Davies joins Sheffield United as a free agent following his summer departure from Everton.www.bbc.co.uk
Hemingway’s piece today addressed all of the injured players. It read as if the 2 week break will make no difference and none of the injured will be back for Man U, though Baldock, Osborn and Osula will be close.Anyone got tabs on potential return dates for those not with a red X marked on their doors?
In the BBC article Hecky said he brings good physicalityVery naive of me.
I thought when there was some comparisons around Rodwell etc I just assumed he a one year deal and that if he does well we could extend.
This is arguably our worst but of business.
Not much difference with other clubs when you look at the stats.
The modern game exerts pressures on players beyond those in the past and knees and hamstrings take the brunt. Add in normal contact injuries like Basham and most clubs will have a large part of their squads missing at any one time in the season.

Davies and Egan are said to be months away, and Lowe’s layoff is going to be a long one. RND not coming back any time soon (my money’s on never).
The news re Jebbison and Coulibaly was vague, though I was told we likely won’t see Jebbison in 2023.
Basham is of course out for the season.
I think realistically we will see Baldock, Osula and Osborn in a few weeks, but none of the others this calendar year.
Is Amissah back fit? Don't mind him as back up.
Yes, probably. Well, not sure re Coulibaly but he’s not going to help us anyway.Lowe

Coulibaly

Jebbison
All after Xmas then?
But but but hardly any would play... (forgetting they're good options off the bench when players are fucked.)

With one of the keepers as sub, that team would have done us proud at Fulham.

No idea who Tom is, but my info came direct from a physio with a professional team and very recent article in the pressOkay, whatever you say Tom.
The fantastic Tom Little. No idea who Tom is, but my info came direct from a physio with a professional team and very recent article in the press
The fantastic Tom Little.
We agree to differ unless we are looking at two different versions of stats. Not much difference with other clubs when you look at the stats.

You mean the article that is now being revisited because the original spin is incorrect. No idea who Tom is, but my info came direct from a physio with a professional team and very recent article in the press

Just looking at our staff list and comparing it to other smaller but more ambitious and better run clubs (Ipswich/Luton etc). Looks like we concentrate on 'strength and fitness' maybe at the expense of 'sport science' on the coaching side, although that might just be differences in job titles. Others have more keeper coaches. We seem to have a lot of physios. No idea who Tom is, but my info came direct from a physio with a professional team and very recent article in the press
Over my head !!The fantastic Tom Little.
Last week’s stats indicated that there were officially 112 injured players in PL squads, let alone others that were kept quiet. United were not at the top of that list.We agree to differ unless we are looking at two different versions of stats.
Not that one.You mean the article that is now being revisited because the original spin is incorrect.
Better off with Stuart Little.
This simply cannot just be bad luck. Something, somewhere, is wrong.
