Something has to be happening, the muscle injuries are incredibly high. The review has to be concluded quickly and action taken.

'Davies blow for United'; I said 'Oh fuck off' out loud.
I think there's going to be a few more OFOOLs than LOLs this season.

We are going to be at a point where we are fielding a team similar to that opening game against Palace possibly one even worse.

It won't have Basham, shall I write fact? No that's somebody else's thing.

It won't have Basham, giggity.

The curse seems to stretch to loan players too.

No idea what happened but Louie Marsh taken off on a stretcher playing for Doncaster last night.

Hope mcall has kept his boots the way the injuries are going we may need him to fill a role..
😟😟👍

I'm starting to think our entire medical staff are actually out injured at this point and we've employed an odd job man out of the star to fill in. He's currently doing sports massages with something he's cobbled together from a makita

Davies has had 2 hamstring operations in the last 2 seasons. He has hardly kicked a ball in anger since November 2022 and yet we give him a 3 year contract!! Shades of John Ebbrell all over again.

There are just too many injuries to put it down to bad luck and the pitches. The fitness and conditioning regime has to be called into question and that is down to the Manager and Tom Little his Head of Sports Science. Theres no point in doing a review internally as apart from the coaching staff there is no one at the Club with football knowledge who could raise challenging questions as to why we are in this state and have been for well over 12 months. Again a stark reminder that in the absence of a Sporting or Technical Director we will continue to drift along aimlessly repeating the same mistakes.

What injury record?
Got a bad injury in 21/22 missed most of the season and has only made sporadic appearances since then. A classic player on the way down. If Nathan Hummingbird is reporting that he is out until Christmas, with our record on injury rehab and Davies's already portly physique it is probably going to be a season ender for him.

I bet the players are over the moon with international break.

They have 7 days or so off from our training session. They must walk into work everyday and think wonder who we going to injure today.

Right…. Let me get this right as I think I’ve missed this when he signed?

Davies is a 3 year deal? As in Tom Davies?

There’s no way.

No way. No such thing as coincidence at these volumes.
Not much difference with other clubs when you look at the stats.
The modern game exerts pressures on players beyond those in the past and knees and hamstrings take the brunt. Add in normal contact injuries like Basham and most clubs will have a large part of their squads missing at any one time in the season.
