If we go into the playoffs without a recognised forward again, we won't have the cutting edge to succeed, which is exactly what let us down the last few times.

If you want evidence I'd put forward the Preston game. Hitting teams on the break is all well and good as long as they play the game too we lack that something else and I think we'll address it in the summer.

Ah, makes absolute sense Bob. Agree mate, up until now it's been horses for course, and Clough has done well with what we have, but there's one glaring omission and that's at least one forward, maybe two (if the other one is injured), that can add that finishing touch......but, I trust Cloughie to address this as and when. As he's said, no point taking just anyone, it has to be the right player(s). So bearing all that in mind I hope we'll be able to get behind our manager as he goes about his business.
