Think the wind was a factor today to be honestPoor game by his high standards. Not sure what he was trying to accomplish with those two long shots he pushed straight back out in front of him. We're lucky to get away with them.
Agree. Did he think the ball was a hot potato today ? Commentator said it was due to the movement in flight but when it was slowed down for the replay the ball never movedPoor game by his high standards. Egan did the same near the endHenderson looks to be lacking a lil confidence at the min. A think the wind played a factor in his reluctance to come out and claim some loose balls, Baldock gave him a look at one point when he had thump one out for a throw when Deano could have come for it.
Should lay off Guinness and beans then.Think the wind was a factor today to be honest
It will, given experienceI think Henderson’s a good keeper, but if he’s got a weakness, his positioning is questionable at times.
Off the top of my head, Ritchies goal v Newcastle, Deulofeus goal v Watford at home, and the Arsenal winner the other night we’re all much easier finishes than they should have been, due to his poor positioning.
It’s certainly an area of his game that he could improve upon

On his day he’s a great shot stopper but his aerial game is poor.
We have defenders and some of the front men help out Maca and Didsy who he relies on to deal with high balls in the six yard always rooted to his line.
A decent keeper will be high on CWs shopping list before the next campaign
I am an admirer of Henderson, but he got lucky with those 2. But it is almost the end of the season, and he has just 1 howler to his name (v Liverpool at home). And a few other goals where there are doubts. That’s a pretty good achievement. There are people on here who will tell you they were 2 world class saves...
Pure goldNick Pope I hope - rhyme of the day

There are also people on here who will be able to understand the circumstances and see that he actually dealt with both situations quite well.
You’re not the only one related to current and ex professional goal keepers...
Great input.
If you believe parrying the ball down to the opposition's player in the middle of the goal about 12 yards out is "dealing with it well" then you're entitled to your opinion, however strange it may be.

Isn't that exactly what Kepa Arrizabalaga, the £30m Chelsea goalkeeper did today? He needs to stop push shots back out through the penalty area.
