I think he's seemed a little distracted & a little off since lockdown. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I hope he hasn't bought into his own hype a little too much & is annoyed he's not being brought back to replace DDG.

He's very young & he's being very well rewarded by that club. Another couple of years on loan with us would seem to be a good move all round but I wouldn't be surprised to see him try & force a permanent move through this Summer to Chelsea.
He’s just seen us demolish them. I dont think he’ll fancy playing behind that defence in a hurry!! Best option is sign for us.

He needs to stop push shots back out through the penalty area.
Have to say I doubted his handling today a little bit after that, and then he came out and did that massive header and also claimed a ball in the crowded penalty area and all was forgiven. Think sometimes as fans maybe we don't realise how hard players kick the ball 😂 can be hard to get to grips with

Isn't that exactly what Kepa Arrizabalaga, the £30m Chelsea goalkeeper did today?
Shit happens, especially when you're a keeper
If your talking about our first goal the first one that he parried was a good stop hard shot took a deflection and he was going the other way his defenders let him down

Chelsea are set to ask Manchester United to name their price for 23-year-old English goalkeeper Dean Henderson with doubts over the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga. (Sunday Express)

Although I want the lad to do well, I wouldn't mind him going back, having an absolute mare and getting bombed out so he comes back for £3.5m in January.

In the same stats page he's only made 90 saves and is sitting in 10th place.
A measure of how well he is protected here perhaps?

This could have a big effect on our chances of being Champions next season ......... 😨

But then again so did the Coutts injury in the 17/18 season, but we survived that and we will this, in fact, it could be even more damaging to leave it any longer....

This is it for me, I don't think he'll be afforded the same protection at MUFC and this may show a few cracks in his performances.

I don't want to sound bitter as I love Deano but he is prone to a mistake which is to be expected at someone his age. Our rock solid brick wall of a defence has definitely influenced his clean sheet ratio and goals conceded ratio which from the outside looking in looks like Deano's a worldy.

I must admit that I have not been impressed with him since the restart. I don’t think he is quite at the top level yet. I think that he will get there but every time the crescendo of noise around him rises, he looks a bit shaky.

Just a mind game to bring Hendo speculation out to unsettle the team who are a C/L threat to both Manure and Chelski.
For Hendo to go to Fat Frank it would cost Manure over £100m in share value alone to be seen to sell such a longterm asset to a longterm historic rival.

Theirs no doubt deano is a special talent. But he has had a team of players in front of home that has protected him and reduced the amount of shots faced. looking at clean sheets and saves made only tells you a small amount of information and can be misleading. PSxG (post shot xG) gives a clearer picture of the best shot stoppers in the division.

Any positive number on the PSxG +/- means the keeper is a better shot stopper or an indicator of luck. PSxG/SOT relates to the difficulty of shots faced, the higher the number the harder the shots have been to save. These stats SUGGEST that this season deano is a better shot stopper by some distance and has faced shots that are marginally more difficult to save in comparison to DeGea. It also shows Guaita is just has good as deano.

Could be way out of line here, but wondering if some of Hendo's poor form after the break was down to the disappointment of not being called back to Man U ?

Disappointed to go back and sit in the stands? He wouldn't have been eligible to play for them.

As unbelievable as it still feels to say this, Henderson will be far more exposed next season, if at Man United. In terms of media spot light, higher expectations at Old Trafford and crucially - defensively. Their defense aren't as organised and reliable as ours - as brilliant as he is. They may cost considerably more too, but in Shaw, Jones, Lindelof, and others, there's plenty of mistakes in there. They may score for fun going forward (and I'd expect that to continue next season) but they'll also concede plenty of chances too.
