Didn’t know he was married to jimmy hill’s daughter… state of chin on that!

I'll chuck a tenner in

If Cooper read this thread and then watched Grbic’s performance last night he must be crapping himself. He’ll think that this amount of fan abuse for such a good performance, gulp!

Grbic pulled off 3 great saves, came 30 yards to rescue a one on one developing, punched clear several time. Gilchrist got him in trouble two times one he survived as it went wrong side of post other lead to their second when Couliby missed it and player wide left caught Gilchrist in no man’s land ball watching.

Easy to criticise and insult. I’m giving him a solid 8/10 and a slap on the back for a great performance :p

Few chants of "Ivo, Ivo, Ivo" last night....OK, probably ironic chants but to be fair to the lad if he was playing last night to put himself in the shop window, he didn't do a bad job.
He looked good with the ball at his feet. But still scared the shit or of me.

There was the chance that went over him and flashed past the post, late in the first half.

He looked like he was going to get dispossessed in his 6 yard box in second.

Their 2nd goal went through his legs.

Id give him a 6/7 out of 10. But better than usual

Better than usual sums it up nicely.

Hopefully some Spanish team will think he's worth a punt as back up.

Needs time to rebuild confidence, which is something we don’t have. Maybe a loan spell to another English side would do him good. Based on his overall performances for us he’s one of the worst I’ve seen, he did look decent last night though against a L1 teams

He didn't look decent at all.

Looked nervy, positional sense poor, no command for a big goalie at all, should have gathered when Gilchrist shielding, then lets a ball straight through is legs.

It was a relatively cheap punt in the sheme of things that has failed badly, pay him up - send him on - sure he's a decent lad but he isn't a good footballer.

You must have missed the saves he made and when he swept up. Other than that he didn’t have much to do. Let’s not pretend that it was the first time a keeper has had the ball put through his legs either. Looked no worse than Wes did for the majority of his United career. The exception being that he can use his feet and kick a ball past the halfway line. You also clearly missed the bit where I mentioned L1 level football.

Looked no worse than Wes? Come on..... really?

I thought he looked ok yesterday, more confident, very good save in first minute , swept up in second half . I know it’s about levels and maybe that’s his level maybe with a bit of confidence he raises his level .
GLTTL but it’s best for all concerned if he moves on and plays regularly.
As ever UTB !

It was definitely his best game for us. Too late though for him.

The ironic cheers from our support were pathetic as well.

Rubbish

Why do we have to be so nasty ?
Its just not worked out for him here.

TBH I agree - it must have been very difficult, bordering on impossible, to join the sinking ship last season, playing behind that sieve of a defence. As mental as most GKs are, confidence still plays a huge part in their performances - remember back to when Ramsdale returned and suffered a similar fate. He looked tiny in goal and conceded some shockers

Of course, he didn't help himself at times with some poor errors and I still think he should have been eased into the side instead of WF, rather than immediately installed as #1.

Now with Cooper around, it will be best for him to make a new start elsewhere but I don't think he's as bad a GK as he's shown and is made out to be - he may well excel at his next club.

Agree

The only player who should ever get rank abuse is Vini - even if he plays like a world beater - or should I say , when he decides to play like a world beater .

Better. Their second was unlucky. It can happen to any keeper. His position was fine for it but the lad lashed it hard and low anywhere roughly goal wards. Rest was adequate apart from not commanding the situation when Gilchrist was holding off his man waiting for him to come and some weird decisions to punch.
