Would love to see stats on Hamer how many times he lost ball.

Thing is, it’s all right saying goals been gifted in a way suggesting we aren’t deserving, but they are still goals and goals change games.

Simply put, we’ve not had to do much and gone there and easily got a 4-0 win.
Yes we may not look great with the ball, but that’s not our first choice back line or midfield from a squad that’s been constantly changing for to injuries etc.

Just take the win, get back and get the main fellas back into training working on passages of play, set pieces, defensive organisation etc etc.

Mcatee absolute class. Great dribbling, cool pass-finish for his first goal, and perfect ball sticking for his 2nd.

Easy win overall, but could have been very different if gills had scored that header.

Seriki needs to go out on loan.

Not sure about brooks. He's looked good in a few prem matches, but seemed to make a few mistakes & wrong decisions recently.

Archer looked a bit out of sorts.

Great to see Brewster get a few minutes. He seemed to panic for his 1-on-1 chance and seemed to hit it at keeper? (Opposite of mactee finish).

Far from convincing performance but a few good performances from McAtee, Osula, RND, Wes. Brooks had some good moments. Brewster had some lovely touches and turns when he came on. BBD only had 20 mins but he looks a way off the standard. Wasn't sold on the signing and some warning signs there that big improvements are needed from him.

Nice to get a win and also no injuries. RND and Brewster back and looking relatively up to pace of league two opposition which is all can be expected from them really.

Midfield looks bereft of creativity and composure even against the likes of Gils. Take McAtee out of the equation and obviously even worse. Norwood finished, Brooks poor today and Hamer ineffective.

Sereki and Thomas also struggled so mixed bag really as happy to go through without injuries but much work to do on this squad.

Well done Blades, comfortable win and seeing the ball hit the back of the net 4 times will do wonders for the confidence.as will the clean sheet

Slight negative- lost too many headers in our own box as that was the only way they were going to score

I liked Brewsters hold up play today and he generally looked a presence.

Was really happy with the BBD signing but whilst it’s only 20 minutes, that cameo showed Laurens Ten Heuval levels of confidence and quality 😬. Still, long road ahead in what’s almost certain to be an audition for us to sign him for the championship

Delighted to see RND back looking sharp and strong

Nope … honestly I would play him at CB he’s a waste of a slot as a striker and his attitude is questionable at best

On a goals per minute played basis he’s our best striker, by a big distance as well.

Never going to be free flowing football against a team that have 11 men behind the ball. Try asking teams we’ve played recently…

Quite slow and ponderous at times, but par for the course.

Ultimately professional and emphatic, without any injuries. Good day at the office.

Suspect a few behind closed doors games before the next league match.

Clean sheet and Osula gets a boost. About as much as we could want in a low rewards type tie like that.

So none of those sides would want their striker to get involved in the play outside of the chances they create for them ?

Would love to see how that works
Last third of the pitch is where he is most dangerous he needs to be playing from half way line forward - moving defenders across and out of the defensive shape to create space for mids n defenders to play up the pitch to his strengths
If he’s playing in his defensive last third then that says he’s in a struggling team with little outlet to feed him
