The good, the bad and the Done.
The Done, the Madine and the Dowie. ;)

Just thought i'd make sure that was the right way round for the good player we have in league one. :)

Any man and his dog can see the influence Done has had along with many others I may add this season.

Our top goalscorer, the top goalscorer in the league would be unhappy if Matty 'runaroundtocreatespaceforothers' Done wasn't playing any part for us this season.

I can't believe how many threads keep cropping up on the matter when it should be clear as day why Done keeps getting picked. I'd hazard a guess that it has something to do with winning quite a lot of football matches with him in the side.

Matty Done is here for the rest of the season, anybody saying swap him in January for somebody else needs to get that out of their head, it won't be happening.

62% for Matty being Good, and at least one of those was only because the gormless bleeder who voted forgot to look down the list and so didn't notice that Very Good was another option.

According to the club website Done has played 20 league games, 2 goals, 2 assists.

Any fucker that gets Pinchipoos apoplectic the way Done does is just fine by me. (Apart from Nick Montgomery who was beyond diabolical).

Done CV is Rochdale , Barnsley , Rochdale , Sheffield United . He is what he is , a league 1 inconsistent player . If he wasn't he would not be playing for us . Unfortunately for Done , we have outgrown him , and he has not stepped his game up . Why , because he can't . He ain't good enough with a limited football brain .

He will not be here January IMO , and most likely be used as part of a swap cash deal for a better player .

Served his purpose . Good luck to the bloke , but just not good enough for a automatic promotion push side.

Is it time for Ched . No idea but we need a player who can make , score goals , who would bed in immediately .

Unfortunate use of words in the last phrase.

Imagine if we'd bought a player for £30m and - after 18 games - he'd only scored once with no assists? Well that's N’Golo Kante's record at Chelsea so far this season. Titter ye not, I'm not comparing the two but Done - like Kante - is not an out and out striker but he puts in the hard yards and is instrumental in Billy's goals tally so far. Unlike Adkins' ridiculous comment about us fans 'not seeing the work' the lamentable Hammond did (because he didn't), Done is a catalyst in why Wilder's tactics are paying off. Read Jamie Redknapp's view on the 'mole'.

Just my opinion, but I fear that we may have another case of 'Stephen Quinn' here, where people don't see his effect.

I understand the point you trying to make but Kante isn't a striker of any description, nor is he a creative midfielder.
Done is supposed to be

But I do like Done, our win rate is higher with him in the team than it is without him

We are however in an automatic promotion place and he has contributed massively to assist other in getting the goals - I think he needs to play a major role for the rest of the season, either starting or as an impact sub. He can score goals at this level, proven with us and others.

UTB's

Does he really need to get goals? If he put in the performances he has the last 20 games, he could score as little In his next 30 provided we get the same points return...

He brings a balance to the side against most opponents and when teams eventually try to play against us again he'll do the job we need him too.

Done scored ok for us previously & even with his busy pressing of the opposition his poor finishing of late WILL end. Main thing is that as a team the goals haven't dried up and we keep winning.
