My pal and his other half are getting married next month and I was wondering how possible it is to get shirts signed by all team nowadays as they’re both blades and would make a sweet prezzie. Apologies if this had to go on another section of the forum. UTB.

I’ve had this done a few times, twice for charity auction once just for my son, each time I’ve purchased the shirt from the club shop and just taken it straight to reception and asked them for it signing, every time they have done it for me no questions asked (they send it to the training ground and call you when it’s back to collect) Was about 4 years ago since the last time I asked so not sure if policies have changed. If they don’t do this anymore message me as I know someone in player liaison that I could ask for you.

Pretty sure they will arrange it for you though.

My wife got me one done for my 30th by the league 1 promotion team.

She contacted the club by email initially explaining that I was a life long season ticket holder etc and they were a little reluctant at first due to the volume of requests. They said they usually didn’t do them unless it was for a charitable cause. Anyway she persevered and Mr Wilder himself sanctioned it and I got my signed shirt.

quality thank you for that, I’ll go down Saturday and see if I can get it done that way.

Ey up pal, I went down to the shop yesterday and a shop worker in there said to leave the shirt with him in there. I’ve written a letter to go with it too for Wilder to say thanks and let him know it’s for a wedding.

The man in the shop said he’d be able to sort it for me however an hour a later he rang me and said he couldn’t sort it but I’d have to come down this morning and wait for the players to arrive to get it sorted.

Shall I try the reception when I get my shirt as I realise I didn’t go to the reception before.

Cheers

Four years is a long time for the shirt to be returned. Still, you’d have got Sharpy and Didzy on there

Try reception mate, it’s been a while since I had one done but was never an issue. If they don’t do it anymore I can ask the person I know that works at shirecliffe if they can sort it for you.

Went today, got wilder to sign it, but was hard work getting players but got what I needed! Standing 3 hours in freezing cold!
