With 20 minutes left in a game, who'd you like to come of the bench if we needed a goal, Didzy or Cannon? Unfortunately it's not Cannon.
It didn't look good when he wasn't even brought on late against Middlesbrough.

Didzy could 100% do a job for us. In the hole behind Bamford I could see them combining very well.

People also underestimate how much dressing room morale and atmosphere contribute to a winning team. You can see he brings positivity and it's infectious.

I’ve been going to the Lane for 50 years
And I still say McGoldrick and Mark Duffy are 2 of the players I enjoyed watching the most.

Loved Duffy’s dribbling ability using balance and body swerve (like Alex Sabella) instead of speed (like 95% of other good dribblers).
Also loved how Duffy used to find space playing a free role operating between midfield and attack and he was great with his short/ clever passing.
Always thought Duffy would make a fantastic 5 a side footballer due to his close control and awareness of others around him.

Loved McGoldrick due to his high quality and intelligence, also fantastic at finding space between midfield and attack (called the Duffy role).
Altho McGoldrick was a striker he was fantastic at holding the ball up and making clever passes to midfielders or fellow strikers.
At times it was as though he had eyes at the back of his head and he’d spot a runner behind him and make the perfect pass.
Also McGoldricks workrate and attitude was always first class. A classy player who in that 1st season even Premier league defenders struggled to handle him.

He wasn’t great in that last season if we are all honest. The standard between championship and League one is substantial, I saw Norwood playing for Stockport earlier this year and he looked like prime Pirlo.

Case of letting him go at the right time and not tarnishing a fond memory.
