Player Suggestion Daniel Sturridge

Show me one communist utopia, that has reached full socialism as was suggested in Marx’s works?

I’ll wait.

I have no interest in a communism/capitalism debate, so don't feel the need to respond to me personally, but I'd just like to point out that there's no capitalist utopia either. That particular argument is redundant, regardless of which side of the fence you sit.

You’d have been hung draw and quartered on here by Flatulent_Bob et al a couple of weeks ago for being that honest
Bob suggested King, Armstrong and/or Toney as players we should have been looking at instead of spending the then rumored £27M on Brewster, and that while Brewster would be a great long term signing he wasn't the answer to the issues we had upfront for this season.
Now he's in I'm thrilled he's here, but I'm still of the opinion that expecting him to score the goals needed to stay up is far too high a bar for him to reach and he isn't ready to lead a Premier league line. Give him 18-24 months though, and with a bit of good luck he'll be a monster for us.

On Sturridge he would have been perfect were it not for the concerns around his fitness and his likely cost. He could play the 9 or 10 role but we've moved on and we've got Brewster now.

I'd take Sturridge on pay as you pay till the end of the season to be honest. He certainly wouldn't have shit himself quite as violently as Burke did on 92 mins last Sat. The trick, of course, would be to make sure he's on the pitch in the first place.

Yeah, I would consider him a viable option since we are waiting for Moose to return from injury.

Wilder isn't interested though.

What, so he call also provide fuck all?

Signed for Real Mallorca. Hopefully will be at their game against Espanyol at end of August.

I think he would be pretty good in the Championship. I don't think it would suit us at the moment, as we already have loads of strikers, but for a Stoke or Luton or Millwall he would score goals I think.

I think he would look like Ched did for Chesterfield when he came out of prison. A cut above the rest and obviously playing slightly below his level.

Again, wouldn't really want him at United because I would rather have Sharp, Didz, Brewster, Mcburnie. Would I swap him for Mousse or Burke? Probably.

It's interesting that I think SJ is looking to play 3 up top with two wide men (based on the Gibraltar game and his time at Watford and Fulham). Does this mean he will be looking to sign some wide men or will he try to convert what we have into those positions? (brewster/burke/mousset/bogle). Perhaps a bit of both.

I reckon he'll end up at Derby, but I think I said that last time he was mentioned in connection with us and as quite often happens, I was completely wrong.

mad how some things turn out... could've been leading England out for the last time in the Euros, but instead it's turning out for a second rate Spanish side...

he is the definition of a footballer who think they made it before they actually did on the pitch. The 1st gen of insta-famous footy players

I still think Lingard might end up this way too after his purple patch... anyone that does a shit dance on the pitch is probably bound to be a shit footballer

Cringe:
