Watched the second half of Burton's game, Jebbo had a good game leading the line and was involved in a lot of their forward play. His goal was a backheel into the roof of the net from close quarters that was disallowed at first then given. He was subbed at around 80 mins.

I went to the Pirelli today, jusst to watch him, and thought Jebbo was excellent, lead the line superbly, and went off to an ovation in the last minute.
He could well return in Jan, but for me, leave him there until next season.

He gets in-between the posts and into some good areas (rarely see McBurnie do this). I don't think he's quite ready for our level, but I'm happy to be proven wrong and he only needs to offer more than players currently offering nothing (McBurnie, an injured Brewster). So an improvement isn't difficult.

Without burdening expectation on him, his intelligent movement off the ball reminds me of Leon Clarke - gets into good, goalscoring positions and has a cool head when it comes to finishing. From what I saw during his PL cameos he didn't overly impressive but I don't think anyone is going to judge a 17yr old making his professional debut in the world's elite football league.

Looking forward to next season & beyond Brewster, Ndiaye & Jebbo is worth getting excited about so it's crucial Billy stays with them for another year and plays a part in their development. The incompetent execs at the club need to be uncharacteristically forward thinking because if youth development is part of the long term focus it's vital they receive mentorship from Billy & Bash.

He has not been released from prison. He was in police custody and was bailed from the police station. He has not been charged with anything yet, just arrested and questioned on suspicion of offences then released on police bail. No way am I sticking up for him in anyway but as it stands he has done nothing wrong until proven otherwise. If nothing is proven he will very quickly be back playing in England.

The video clip I heard is pretty damning, but with how the girls father spoke after his arrest I’d wager there is a good chance this was all a misunderstanding and there is no charge. That’s if it is the one girl who’s father spoke highly of Greenwood after his arrest, if there is other girls then that could very well have a different outcome.
