Lundstram to come in until january at the very least. He has a real chance to step up now, show his talents and prove he is worthy of a place in this wonderful footballing side. Can't think of many players of similar ilk to Couttsy that we could approach in jan should we need to. He'll be a major loss but I have every faith in Wilder & the players at our disposal that we'll get by.

I honestly think that Sami could do the coutts role, just as long as he can put the work in. Definitely skillful enough and has bags of awareness. Even that very little cameo tonight looked good, if only for 5 minutes.

I think the pressue on him is huge, as everybody will be worrying how the loss of Coutts will affect us and people will be comparing everything Lundstram does to Coutts' exceptional high standards over the past couple of seasons.

We will have to hope that the team collectively will compensate for the loss of Coutts, not just hoping Lundstram will replace him 100%.

In January we will have to add some cover. If we can't find the perfect player, maybe we can find one more option and maybe consider recalling Ben Whiteman as well. Carruthers and Brooks are not the right player types for Coutts' position IMO.

Really can't think of many midfielders who's style is similar to Coutts. He really is that good, Ryan Woods is one but he'd be very difficult to get in. Short term maybe someone like Stephen Gleeson? But i'm only going off his performances and the role he was used in whilst at MK, no idea how he has done at Birmingham.

Not for me, wouldn't be nearly as effective as his current role running at defenders. In time, I'm sure he'd be a fine midfielder, but that time isn't now.

Lundstram has the physical attributes to take over, but some lazy passing tonight which he needs to cut out. Glad to see Sammy get a run out, the boy has plenty of talent and showed a bit in his brief spell on the pitch.

Lundstram will play slightly deeper than Coutts and give Fleck more licence to push on. He is a leader and a tackler and can play the long ball very well. Just watch him when he settles in, he'll be playing with authority by Xmas.
