Looks like the dangers of FFP rules have gone over your head. Forest have serious financial problems, same with Wolves and Everton. I expect Burnley to have similar problems in the next few years.
You’re right, what are they thinking, the idiots, trying to win football matches and be competitive in the Prem, with it’s ridiculous rewards of 100 mill.
They can jolly well take their ambition some where else thank you.
Who do they think they are anyway? Those international investment bankers, at Burnley who are in the very business of making money, they know nothing about it, compared to some of our fans, who are financial experts in their own right. We dodged a bullet there, when the Prince, our saviour, won his court case.Thank God we’re nor run by someone properly preparing for the Premiership.
And as those idiots at Everton who will be walking into a brand new state of the art stadium soon, it’s a good job they’ve never been relegated with all their la di da investment in players and infrasture.I bet they couldn’t even make money from a hotel, attached to the stadium, already built, and, on the edge of the city centre.
If they’re not careful, the way they run their club, they’ll be soon in a transfer embargo, because they couldn’t afford to pay their creditors,be forced to sell their best players on the eve of a season, and 9 months later have over a dozen of their players out of contract.
Who needs football anyway? We’ve got that lovely Mr Prince, looking after our best interests in Los Angeles, and we should just be thankful, for every he keeps us out of the debtors courts.

Me Nan used to say “sarcasm is the lowest form of wit”
Me Granda used to retort- “Aye but it’s still funny”

I’d be stunned if he wants to reject a 5 year contract and champions league football at 28!

Are we even sure we want to be matching that. We really want to be paying PL wages or a significant % of to a 33 year old?
He’s 27

Remember how McGoldrick hit his peak at around 32? What reason is there to think Akpom won't do similar? They're comparable players in terms of style and also physicality to a large extent

He's 27 until he becomes 28. That's how it works.
You quoted the wrong post but I’ll keep it going regardless…

No, it is not £1.75 is not one pound. You don't even understand what a fact is now

I'm frustrated we missed out on Akpom, not because I think he'll set the Prem on fire if we signed him but he was Heckys priority signing (if what you read is true) so I feel the board should have backed him with that. Especially after the recent two sales & completely failing to have signings in for the start of the season he's probably owed it.

Newcastle are one of the richest clubs in the world.

Our ceiling is getting someone to take us over who is going to push us to the financial limit in exchange for 5-10 years of PL football and possibly one jaunt in Europe.
Yes there owners are rich but they have to play by the fair play rules like every other club which stops them applying there vast wealth at this stage.

No he is 27 and something. And if something is more than half, he is nearer 28. You are saying £1.75 is one pound. Stupid.
So on a form where his age is required, what does he put, 27 or 28?

Let's not be stupid with the answer either.
