If we have to move players out to bring players in then it's logical to assume it will be one or two of the better players who will go, people aren't expecting the likes of Woolford to go for a fee are they?

WoolfoRd came in on a free I would think he would go on a free it's finding a club that wants him ,he and Hammond will be gone soon there position at Bramall lane is beyond redemption and they know it.

Woolford has another year on his contract, unless someone pays money for him or we pay him off he's going nowhere, don't get me started on Hammond...

Money down the drain to get shut of this sort of deadwood, money that won't be replaced to spend on the first team unless we recoup it from somewhere else.

Didn't CW say that we are talking to two players regards paying them off, Hammond and Woolford?

...interesting Mr Bond...might just be me but perhaps Wilder would be happy to get a million or so quid in for Che to spend on four or five players?

Just a thought ;)

Let's be realistic, any money for Che would be used to pay the 7 wage thieves contracts, it's the Bladesway

I used to get a bit of info up to Xmas, then my source left the club.

I do recall that clubs were sniffing around Adams then, and one club was mentioning a fee rising to £2m. The club turned it down then, however that doesn't mean we would turn it down now.

If the down payment was the largest portion of that, then I've no doubt the club will be considering it if it's still on the table

It's not selling for that type of money that grates with most fans. It starts with usual denial by the club of the real reason for the sale and ends with the fee disappearing down the black hole after being led to believe the Manager will get it to strengthen. More often than not, the fee is to replace money already spent and not to reinvest.

My own view is Adams has the potential, especially given his age, to be worth much more than £2m in todays market, but only if he knuckles down and has the support he needs to improve, which I'm hoping CW/AK are the men to give it.

Short sightedness is not helping this club move forward

I like the term you've just coined there. C-WAK or CWAK :)

We'll either C-WAK the opposition or we'll play CWAK.
Got a ring to it

@Wiganlaticssss Wigan agree 700k fee for Sheffield United's Che Adams.Player was at Wrightington country club earlier to sort out terms. #twitterblades

But still £800k more than Hammond or Woolford are worth!!

Who would've thought we would sell one of our better young prospects!??!! I'm shocked!!!

Needs must . Unfortunately .

Diego joining Pembo at Bristol , will never hit the first team but just the U21 set up. Che is not a ready made first team player and actually could do better than Wigan.

If getting rid of Che releases money for the purchase of a number of players in key positions , I hope he has signed.

Nothing against the kid , but the Sharp / Che partnership can be improved upon.

Sharp DCL looks more to CW's liking, let's see if we get a striker in aswell as the CW'S that we still haven't got!?

That should be CB's! Fucking predictive text!!!

What does John Rambo have to say on this?

I had a lovely cup of coffee in the Blue Moose cafe in Hope, I walked outside and saw David Caruso so shouted at him "Oi Caruso, is Che signing for Wigan" He just put his shitty Ray-Bans on and stared in to middle distance like some ageing Littlewoods model. Cunt
