I know Adams has had suitors, he was hot property in non-league and we signed him because Clough had connections and strong friendships in the East Midlands. It was a signing he would've been stupid not to make.
Now, Adams has bulked up he's effectively doing an Abonglahor and focusing too much on his weaknesses and not his strengths. He regressed last season, so much so that the only speculation of him leaving is a twitter page and not concrete paper talk. If he was making progress he'd be going this summer, no doubt. But he won't because it's not worth the risk for bigger clubs to take a gamble. I feel this season is make or brake for him, he's a good player but we've had better. Selling him for 3 million would eclipse Lee Morris in terms of dealings. Morris for me was a better player, considerably better than Adams is at this moment, we'll see but to me it's no loss.
