expected this news oh well just get him back to fitness for the start of next season

A real shame as he was starting to look more confident and therefore better.

I feel sorry for him, you could see he was starting to enjoy himself a bit and was genuinely upset at having it happen again at Peterborough and having to come off. Too many of our players probably wouldn't have given a fuck.

He came to us as injury prone having missed a season of football the season before we got him. Now it seems the lad can't consistently play games without getting injured again. It's sad, but the writing could be on the wall for the lads career.
Hamstrings are a bastard, often a recurring thing. Similar with Berge. We've fallen incredibly unlucky with these 2. But feel for them in equal measure.

It's okay. It's only cost us nearly fifty million.

Fifty fucking million. Twenty five million per fucking hamstring. It's almost like John Ebrell never fucking happened, isn't it?

revamp of the striking department is needed in summer, regardless of the price they're not fit, not consistent and (mcburnie) not good enough

Fed up with 'bad luck stories'

Expensively trained and pampered athletes shouldn't readily fall to injuries like this.

Assume that these two are at least insured

Exactly, the only consistently fit striker we've had for the past 4/5 years has been billy sharp, he's 36. Someone take responsibility, stop paying these duds the big wages and get paul mitchell and the fitness coaches out

Not surprising, disappointing season for him. He’ll come back better but we now need McGoldrick & McBurnie to step up

Feel for the lad. Just beginning to find his feet. Going to mean Ndiaye being pushed up for the pace, I'd guess. I can't see Billy and McBurnie playing together. Doubt Billy and Jebbo will.

Cheer up! We are not playing 3-5-2 tonight! ;)

Is Paul Mitchell your absent dad or something?
