with each passing day I think there’s a fair chance wilder won’t be here at start of season or after first month of season. Hes way too distant and quiet for Chris wilder. Something is off with him or it might be just me. Then again I think there’s something not quite right at all at minute. wtf is happening with the takeover lol 😂

I think it's fair to say that you aren't 'Mr Positive' are you?

If your glass was 3 quarters full, I presume that you would tell everyone that 5 mins ago you had a full pint (whilst wiping the ale from your mouth after a big gulp).

How come he signed their contract and or ours then? Genuine question
Because our owner said he wanted to sell him, not keep him. Think Berge said himself he was happy to stay and his plan was to run down his contract.

Had he refused to sign for Burnley, he was probably worried he'd be dropped by us at the end of the season and struggle to attract a top club.

dont be stupid we bring a loan signing in weve 5 available you know bogle wanted to go so f**k him the 5/7m will get us worrall and burrows good deal for us bogle would have been no good in a 4231 set up his defending is garbage
I'm confident he'll have a great season at Leeds playing RB in a back 4. He got signed for his performances doing the same thing at Derby, don't know why some think otherwise.

I try to be. But I’ve been here a hundred times or more. I think it’s fair to say I’m a bit older than you 😂

Now if they were to buy Brewster they would have a player,
There are a lot of reasons why Leeds want Bogle and not Brewster. The fact that Brewster is wank, doesn’t play, doesn’t score and is presumably on good wages would be a few of them.

Be careful. You’ll be labelled negative

Had a look at various stats on Whoscored and these look like good potential replacements who played in the Championship last season (probably dependent on the takeover as I assume some/most/all of these would probably cost a lot more than we received for Bogle):
Perry Ng (28yo, Cardiff, contracted til 2026, TM value €3.8m, WS rating 7.16)
Ethan Laird (22yo, Birmingham, contracted til 2026, TM value €2.5m, WS rating 7.13)
Ki-Jana Hoever (22yo, on loan at Stoke from Wolves, contracted til 2026, TM value €4.5m, WS rating 7.08)
Milan van Ewijk (23yo, Coventry, contracted til 2027, TM value €7m, WS rating 7.03)
Jeremy Ngakia (23 yo, Watford, contracted til 2028, TM value €1.5m, WS rating 6.96)
Trai Hume (22yo, Sunderland, contracted til 2028, TM value €7m, WS rating 6.96)
Callum Brittain (26yo, Blackburn, contracted til 2026, TM value €2.5m, WS rating 6.86)

Just for the banter, think we should push the boat out for the lad from Coventry!

Whats to say, we don't have a RB in Seriki who's just as good? Not shown he's not good enough with the limited minutes in the prem last season

Burrows - Worral - Robbo - Seriki as a back 4 is not horrendous. We also have a loan we can make, i'm sure there's a right back out there who can defend well and put a cross in...?

A player who is injury prone and not worth a gamble. So of course they would’t buy him.

Agreed - but running down his contract would have meant a lesser committed player, scared of getting an injury and £15m less in the bank

If he wanted to stay he should have signed a new deal

Right thing was done

Really sad to see Boges go. Highly competent operator that has an even higher ceiling than we have seen. Don’t be surprised to see him using Leeds as a stepping stone to better things.

That said, I’m sick of seeing assets depart the club for cents on the dollar that you and I are , effectively, paying for.

So the club has done the right thing here.

Props for that 👍.

When it comes to Brewster I’m extremely negative, some of our players have the odd bad game and are battered by fans, yet this lad has 3 seasons where he’s contributed next to nothing and “there’s a player in there”.

It baffles me.

...like Burnley!

It’s a good deal, considering his contract situation and his effort (lack thereof) last season. Explains a lot really.

Fair enough. If you follow United you tend to get a bit pessimistic but even so, there is a line (imo) where you can just start to be a grumpy old bastard who isnt really giving the club a fair crack of the whip. Lord knows the club can make anyone get fed up with them at times, but there is a point where people can just be overly negative. Fair enough if you want to wallow in SUFC misery, that's up to you, though I'm not sure if see the benefit of that. Life's tough enough never mind your football team contributing to it.

By the way, you may very well be older than me. But we all have different lives and experiences. Personally I'm well into my 50s (watched United since the mid 70s and followed them all over the country for years), travelled and lived around the world, been in the British forces, had a family, and have had a full life. I tend to think that (after seeing what I have in life especially in the BFs, that you should try to be positive and enjoy life if it permits). Think it's also fair to say my old man has watched United longer than you (he's well into his 80s) and he's not as miserable about United as you seemingly are (on here), and he's a pessimistic old bugger at times

But if you want to be miserable about SUFC with all your 'life' experience, then crack on pal.
