One thought on the Women’s team; watching them really gives me flashbacks to the men’s side last season - even when they do play well, the final 15 minutes is a disaster zone. But I’m not expecting the collapse in morale we saw in the men - the margins are far tighter.

Oh and on England, it’s £40 for my seat for a friendly. I know it’s England, but it’s not a competitive game. Maybe it’s just me being allergic to friendlies but if it doesn’t sell out, I think the pricing a big mistake.

Yeah it's very pricy in some stands. I think it worked out as cheaper for me and my daughter to sit in BLLT as it would cost for one adult ticket on south stand.

Agree, our final third play is shite. Been frustrating to see us take short corners too that don’t result in the ball getting in the box

Afternoon S2,

Good one that wasn't it? Roygbiv and I talk about the Sunderland game, Tom Davies taking the headlines, and a match-up with the weirdest team in the league on Saturday. Cheers for listening!

Don't go to West Brom on Saturday, you'll be there ages, and you don't want that!

I somehow completely missed that this is Sunday. I'll trust anyone with tickets to have it right.

Hello all, Roygbiv and I recorded our West Brom reaction pod here, and looked ahead to a Millwall game that's probably even tougher now that it's Neil Harris' final home game there:

Also I'll plug MORE of my stuff here because I mentioned it in the episode, but here's a piece I wrote about international football at Bramall Lane and why that's something to be proud of: https://womenofsteel.substack.com/p/international-football-returns-to

He's trying but it sounds like all they're talking about is Harris at the moment!

Cheers as always chaps. Couldn't pay complete attention to the game myself as dad duties took priority, but their equaliser gave me horrible flashbacks to the Luton game, on Boxing Day last year. That went in, and I spent the rest of the game fretting that they would get another absurd fluke and win it. Ultimately glad to come away with the point.

You have the best profile picture on here. I too believe in Joe Hendry

Ben/ Andrew, in answer to your question we've been behind for a total of 62 minutes all season, easily the lowest total in the league.
For example Burnley hardly concede but the combined total minutes Burnley have been behind is 192 minutes.

A Norwich 9 minutes
A Leeds 21 minutes
A Boro 10 minutes
A Bristol City 11 mins
A WBA 11 minutes

Andrew,

You mentioned that Plymouths only chance of threatening to score would be from their one quality player, Morgan Whittaker.
Who does sometimes score spectacular long range goals out of nothing.

However Whittaker picked up a toe injury last week and is now out for 6 weeks, so won’t be playing against us tomorrow.

Hi all, just a quick one this week - foolishly I delayed the recording of this in anticipation of having something takeover related to talk about LOL

Anyway, Roygbiv and I belatedly catch up on Plymouth, look ahead to Cardiff, and discuss the (un)likelihood of our manager being poached by the Premier League.

Thanks as always for listening!

Thanks again lads, I really love these.

Felt wrong this week seeing as I hadn't even seen the game!
It’s always good, mate. Not everyone can realistically watch every single game, but there’s still enough info around for our very own Columbian-Jamaican correspondent to have something to say. 🤣 It’s good entertainment pal. Look after yourself 👍🏻

Hello all, happy new year to you - Roygbiv and I recorded one last pod for 2024, rounding up a trio of festive games, the conclusion of the takeover, Souttar's injury, Andre Brooks' first goal, and whether we've had a better year than Man U / Spurs fans. Thanks for listening, have a good one!
