Came on as a substitute on 71 minutes, sent off on 72' minutes. At least he's got himself a record

He went to throw a straight arm, stopped and then shoved him. The shove wasn't enough for a red but did the intent front the stopped sat right arm justify a red?

Centre half involved was a right tosser, running straight over to the ref pleading with him to send Billy off. Then after succeeding walked off with a smirk on his face that wanted chinning.

Not clear from the footage, certainly nothing obvious to warrant a red.

That said he didn't argue or react like you'd expect for getting sent off for doing nothing.

He was clearly very happy to get the goal to take Donny up.

Got the feeling he was almost on the verge of saying it wasn't as good as when he got promoted with us.

Somehow he reigned it back.

Billy and Didzy are natural goal scorers and could still teach our strikers a thing or two about movement, positioning and how to finish.
Fabulous to see Billy scoring the winner yesterday

What a great career with the perfect ending. ( if he does decide to hang up his boots) 👏
He said in a post match interview yesterday that he isn’t ready to quit yet & he’s hoping for another year with Doncaster. I’m not sure he’ll still cut it in L1, might be better going somewhere like Chesterfield for a year or two.
