Spot on fellaPersonally don't believe in this big European clamour for Berge, after all last summer it was Club Brugge he was supposedly going to.
He's just not THAT good, he's too hot and cold, has struggled in the Championship a lot at times, still hasn't really proven himself in the Premier League either.

Problem is all the rest of our players are either kids or has beens.Personally don't believe in this big European clamour for Berge, after all last summer it was Club Brugge he was supposedly going to.

I'm not sure we do have relegation rivals really.
I agree with all that. The worrying part is how highly PH clearly rates him. I’d find it hard to believe he would get behind selling him.Personally don't believe in this big European clamour for Berge, after all last summer it was Club Brugge he was supposedly going to.

Absolute shit show at the moment, other Premiership clubs must be laughing their heads off at us.
We’re going to end up playing Palace with the team we feared we’d of had if we’d not been promoted.
Do you honestly think anyone of them will upgrade on the exits. 4 is no where near enough.
Traore - poor man’s Ndaiye
Slimani - poor man’s Berge
Larauce - squad fill replacement for stevens
Trusty - upgrade on JLT (maybe?)
Doyle - ?
Mcatee - ?
Khadra - ?
Berge - ?
Sharp -?
Fleck - ? Broken leg
mcburnie - out for however long
The squad as it stands would have a battle to stay up in the championship. I’ve never seen a promoted team do this - weaken themselves so completely and claim to still be competing
We are worse across the board at every potion in terms of strength and depth..
I think you have written off the 4 who have arrived without giving them a chance. Much as some did with MacateeI’d be surprised if anyone wants to join a clubs that’s signing up to be pounded week after week.
Best to judge all of this in September.I know, right. Prince and his minions should be ashamed of the support the players and management have been given

Wow, this is just crazy.
Berge to Burnley, I thought he had ambishun. It just doesn't make sense on any level, unless he has seen the total mess we are in & wants out to anywhere, but he didn't seem the type to me.
And why the fuck would we let him go without getting at least one replacement in
If this happens it makes my last post in the "beat Derby thread" redundant.
We have known from the outset that any quality loans would come at the end of the window, so there is nothing new there. What is the obsession with September? The season starts Saturday
They might agree to do so, but (a) another club other than Burnley could come in (b) he might not want to join usDarren Smith speculates that any deal will include an agreement that Burnley step away from the Souza race. The way we're doing business, I wouldn't be shocked if the deal was us agreeing to step back from it. Fuck sake.
I agree by the way.Bear in mind we've already lost Ndiaye, Doyle & McAtee from last season. Berge next?
We've gone miles backwards... we should be bringing those players in without sales.
If we're selling players (and I don't disagree with selling some for future-proofing) they should be in addition to those guys.
Hes not going to sign another contract and although I'll be sad if he goes, if it's good wonga then sell him, but we must have several players in that are half capable before the window shuts.
Not chucking my dummy out yet, but I might come September.
Fingers crossed that the club know what they're doing.
It is at present, I agree. What is vital is what it looks like when the window closes.None of the signings have any realistic expectations attached - they fall into the class of punts I was pretty happy with to improve the overall squad. Mcatee came with the realistic Expectations Of improving the 12
Not starters because we’ve no options as we’ve sold anything not nailed down.
The squad is Much weaker than last year across the board
What if another club wants to buy Souza?! Can we sell them Brewster on the same basis please?Darren Smith speculates that any deal will include an agreement that Burnley step away from the Souza race.
