I was at the friendly. It was a poor crowd! Genoa scored twice before Mich Ward pulled a goal back late in the game. Whitehurst won a lot in the air after he came on as sub and the Italians struggled to deal with him!

Yes, I vaguely remember one photo of all players wearing away kits for before the start of a season. Not sure if it was in either summer 1989 or in summer 1991
