Great half that, they only had a few half chances and we've had a couple of situations ourselves.

Pleasantly surprised by that first half. Very disciplined, compact and focused. Villa clearly frustrated. Brooks excellent. Well done to Larouci so far as well against a difficult Villa right hand side.

Will still be surprising if we end up with a result, but I enjoyed our first half performance.

brooks has had a couple of moments where he has shown bollocks and tried to do something with the ball apart from get it clear. The others could learn a lot from him. So many in our squad are scared of the ball.

3 or 4 passes away is on my Christmas list. Confidence is a major factor and it’s been squeezed out of us this season. I’m seeing green shoots but stunted growth offensively.
