Which is kinda ambitious, they get top brass for their players. We get a wham bar and a Thorntons chocolate selection box for ours. For all the talk of Norwich being more ambitious than us they sold their 4 best players for £40-60m last season including their best midfielder to Ipswich for £10m
Still plenty of time for Gus and Peck to goNeed to balance the books i reckon. Hopefully means we can keep Gus etc.

Talk about twisting a fact to suit your agenda. If we had sold Josh Sargent and signed Andre Brooks you'd be whining even more than usual.Which is kinda ambitious, they get top brass for their players. We get a wham bar and a Thorntons chocolate selection box for ours.
Or maybe he just tweeted the truth. Radical concept I know. Football fans and hard truths...
The issue I have is the idea that players are helpless and at the mercy of agents.
If Brooks saw he could become a millionaire at the stroke of a pen, I don’t blame him for signing. It would have been his call. Especially if the club said they wouldn’t counter offer.

Don’t agree at all selling a real prospect is shockingNeed to balance the books i reckon. Hopefully means we can keep Gus etc
ExactlyUltimately the club always decides to sell the player. Not the agent, not the manager or football staff, and not the player. They don't have that power. They decide whether to go along with it. There's precipitating factors within our control. That's what I blame the club for. Two years left, and the bean counters want him to either sign or leave. One year left and they desperately want him to either sign or leave( even if the player is Ndiaye quality)
He has the decision whether to move or not: he cannot be forced to.Who said he had a desire to move on ? He was our best player last season with excellent potential, selling is the united way. Up to now the owners have been incompetent by hiring Seles, spunking money on terrible loans, then rehiring a manager that is behind time with football and tactics. You keep clapping Wilder and the owners,it’s what you do whatever evidence is in front of you.
Aye, cos he's definitely not been proved to be telling lies in the pastOr maybe he just tweeted the truth. Radical concept I know. Football fans and hard truths...
Where’s the twisting? You mean “pointing out facts”Talk about twisting a fact to suit your agenda. If we had sold Josh Sargent and signed Andre Brooks you'd be whining even more than usual.
And they have to work for nowt, tooAre people in the football industry not allowed to take a holiday George??
If they are then when would you expect them to take them if not during pre season?
If you're insinuating they're not allowed them then I reckon we'd have a real shortage of managers in a very short space of time and probably break every employment law going.
Its not Wilders decision. The board / hierarchy they now call themselves make all buy & sell / financial decisions now. Apparently they decided we couldn't afford Knilly.Got to be some over the hill has-been he has in his sights ..![]()
We're getting £4 Mill & a 5% sell on clause.The answer to B, is they've just got £20m for Sargent
I get What you are saying. You are right they are not box to box types. Rothwell and Philips aren't blessed with pace but they are experienced.I know you did mate and like I say I love the optimism but there’s no athletes in that midfield, theres 2 aging players, 1 tiny player (although I like him), 1 awful player and one that that got better in people’s minds the longer he was out injured. I wish I shared your optimism but I really don’t like it and just hope we have something lined up other than Kalvin Phillips.
Wilder came on after every game and gave him -100 to drag his average score down.Classic winger: 10th best average rating (only just above the squad average) but has 7 MoM awards. So very very good and very very bad. Surprisingly poor disciplinary record (7 yellows, joint 3rd worst)View attachment 239294View attachment 239293
