Asset Stripping -They need To Go

Having waded through 4 pages of this thread, I’m still no clearer on what is actually happening at the club.It’s a valiant effort from some on here to make sense of it, but there is such a divergence of views, it leaves you with the feeling that no one really knows cept, the owners and Mr Bettis.
The silence is deafening from them.
Bettis is the CEO and in my view owes the fans some kind of statement as to what are the future plans of the owners.Not expecting detail, but a simple heads up, as to why our transfer window panned out in the way it did, and what now, are the owners selling, staying, and if so, what’s the general direction for the future?Surely, he and the club owes us (the paying customers) this much!

If anyone here can tell me exactly how the owners are asset stripping I'll fly over and buy them 10 pints.

Owners can't take money out of the football club. It's a completely separate entity. They can lend money and receive interest (or repayment of the loan) or take a dividend if the club makes a profit, which has to be agreed.

If they pocketed transfer money it's embezzlement / fraud.

We're selling players because we have a revenue gap now we're no longer receiving parachute payments and have to meet new SCR requirements. It's really fucking simple tbh.

The anger and frustration that some have now should have been here last summer when we sacked a manager who got us 90 points during a rebuild and takeover meaning we missed out on targets as the current owner at the time didn't want to spend as a takeover was looming.

We replaced him with some guy hull had just sacked and decided the methods that had kept us premier league/top end championship for quite some time didn't actually work
