Is it true we’re building a new training centre just for the injured players?
At least if we sign Diallo he’ll feel at home in the treatment room with almost half the squad.

Also if Diallo is due to be back in 1 month….you can bet our specialists manage to drag out his injury until his loan spell ends.

I do appreciate individuals insider knowledge but there is no way after even Hecky is on the record for saying as many signings as possible and chasing McAtee all summer, that we sign an emergency LB on loan and then conclude business. There is definitely more to come, whether the McAtee deal happens or not, I personally see 2 more attacking options coming in

Pleased you have the right attitude and not taking any criticism personally.

As explained in the past by Warnock and Wilder….they have crazy stories where they shook hands on a deal.
The deal was done and the player was due to sign the contracts the following day….then they read in the paper the player has signed for another club.

My point is even if Bettis himself was giving Riflemen daily updates about deals.
The craziness of the transfer and loan market would still mean….every now and then you’re left with egg on your face.
My point is….it’s impossible for even the greatest ITK to have a 100% success record….as long as it’s usually correct is OK for me.

Not sure why Rifleman gets stick tbh, from what I remember this transfer window he's the only one that actually tried to drop names on here way before they appeared in the press (Akpom and Archer) and then since then his next few calls have been wrong. Everyone else just seems to wait for news to drop and then claim they knew about it all along or are that vague they generally can't be wrong i.e "a loan player might be coming in" well no shit
