Just been catching up with this thread and i do have to admit, i've been laughing my bollocks off.
It's clear to me that United have been and still are interested in signing Hammond, my view is that we probably haven't stumped up no where near enough wages to get the move over the line. Why? Only United and Leicester can answer. This is only my view and it might not be true but i can't see it being far wrong 'tbh'. He would be a good addition aswell.
One of the main things you have to look at, is do Leicester want or need Hammond anywhere near their squad and i'm hoping we all know the answer is no to that, so in this respect why won't they want to get rid and take even a small part of the wages off, it doesn't make sense to do anything else. Whatever we pay they don't have to so what we or Leicester have been fucking about at is anyones guess.
Also of note from the thread, some people on here would stick up for McCabe if he was stuck up their wifes arse, it really is laughable at times. Balance should be the order of the day but some struggle to achieve this and end up sticking on the same side of the fence continuously.
