Let's see where we are, say, end of October. I believe bringing wilder back was a mistake but like others, in current circumstances we don't have many options.

However, as a mate was saying to me today, it's still a pretty decent first team we have, a bit reduced when looking at the second string.

What I don't want is an implosion where we're looking fooked ahead of Christmas, players out injured and wilder going even more negative and shifting all fault to the owners. At that point we may as well twist and see if anyone else can get a tune out of what's left.

Was going to make the sort of post that this indicates the archetypal glass half empty mentality then compare to the actual chances in the market, but we are actually 25/75 to go down, so I guess they have already priced in the possibility of a points deduction. That 25/75, if Wilder was sacked, would probably switch to all of 24/76 at worst
From Oddschecker: Championship - Relegation Betting Odds ; Lincoln. 4/7 ; Preston. 11/8 ; Bolton. 2/1 ; Sheffield Utd. 7/2 ; Cardiff City. 7/2. I genuinely think that we would shorten considerably if Wilder was replaced.

If we are in that position, I might well agree, but as you say, it's not one for now - 100% support is what is needed.

I think you overstate how much of a difference a manager would actually make in our situation but if you disagree, that's fine

Shorten considerably? We were 20/1 a couple of weeks ago.
