Go on then, might as well get this one out again, here's the traditional Sheffield United Pre-Season friendlies thread for the season 2014/2015.

As usual more pre-season fixtures and information will appear here as we're allowed/able to confirm! :)

£10 Adults, £7 Senior Citizens, £5 Unaccompanied Under18s, £1 Accompanied Under18s (Max. 5 per adult), Under7s Free (Cannot be claimed online).
Ambulant/Wheelchair Disabled £7.

Non Season Ticket Holder (Advance purchase):
£12 Adults, £8 Senior Citizens, £5 Unaccompanied Under18s, £1 Accompanied Under18s (Max. 5 per adult), Under7s Free (Cannot be claimed online).

Tickets are on sale from Monday 14th July.

Supporters purchasing tickets will be allocated 100 loyalty points.

Buy tickets for both Huddersfield and Fenerbahçe games for a discounted price of £12 adults & £5 concessions. (Must be purchased in one transaction).

Please note: Only the South stand and Kop are open for these games.

Blackpool in July please. The fans can all have a good weekend and the players can do a 1mile run into the sea (Warnock style)

In Cloughie's interview today, he said they were going to the North West and a couple of friendly games can't be fixed yet as the teams are in the play offs. However, he talked about fitting in Fleetwood and York as potential games.

Just remembered he said we wouldn't want to play clubs in the same division as us, so that's a reason why it may be Fleetwood or York ?

I know Clough doesn't like to travel and it's his prerogative but from a fans' perspective, pre-season is looking a bit meh so far.

Burton - who we've visited plenty recently, Sixfields - where we've been this season and Huddersfield at home - who we've played plenty recently.
 
Apparently Bleper Town away Friday 25th, might be an U21 thing though given the dates of other games.

It's a Blades XI, which is usually a mix, but mainly academy players.
 
Couldn't agree a mutually acceptable date with Fenerbache for a friendly at the Lane this pre-season, so that's on the back burner for in the future instead.

BTW fellow Blades, just wanna say (with pedantic but factual head on) that it's Bradford (Park Avenue) FC, NOT Bradford Park Avenue. The brackets are important, as historically we ARE Bradford FC; a term commonly, but erroneously, given to that despicable vermin from BD8 :mad:

Anyway, looking forward to the meeting between my two beloved teams. I'll be organising a meet up in a good and fairly spacious pub just up the road from me if anyone's interested (it's about a 5min drive from our ground at Horsfall). Good food & beer and plenty of parking space too.

Sure, it's "The Hare & Hounds" 1197 Great Horton Road, BD7 4LT (web link here: http://whatpub.com/pubs/BRA/118/hare-hounds-bradford ).

It's had a complete overhaul since the photos in the link above. In fact, hopefully popping up for some much welcome respite this afternoon (a pub meal and a few real ales with my better half :D ). There's a spacious car park and it's right on the main A647 road leading out of Bradford. From there it's about a 5-6min drive to Horsfall Stadium. BTW, don't be fooled by the 'Stadium' moniker, prepare to be underwhelmed :oops:

Real ales, standard John Smiths & Lagers/Ciders plus a great value bar menu and even seating/tables for full meals, and a vast array of screens with Sky Sports...

Prices are excellent (£2.40 for real ale, £2.70 for lager etc.). I'll be having a chat with the staff a bit before the game, letting em know a fair few Blades may be visiting.
