We were in the top three all season, were even league leaders, and some fans still wanted Wilder to go.I know there's more than a few on here who were happy to see him go, but do any of them think we'd be in the position we are now in if he was still here?
If it meant bring Wilder back to finish in the playoffs would we take him back?
The only way that would he classed as fast is if we were playing in an OAP league. When he came he said he was going to play fast attacking football, blah, blah, blah.
He does not have a clue, a disaster of a manager who isn’t able to get a tune out of one of the best squads in the division. The players look confused, unsettled and disorientated.
We have lost 5 on the bounce with no glimmer of it getting better tactically.
Go now!
If this carries on pal, we'll be a less than solid League 1 club.Obviously Selles is not the right man but if he goes and Wilder comes back I’ll be done with Utd.
Footballs getting bad enough and any return of a former manager (one for the third time) will just show Utd will never ever become a solid stable top league club.
Name a blades manager who hasn't bottled a play off campaignBring him back for us to bottle them again.![]()
Is that actually correct ? If so ...he needs to go......No shots on target in any league game!!! 1 against Birmingham. He hasn’t got a clue!!
A play off defeat doesn’t hurt as much as relegation to the pub leagueBring him back for us to bottle them again.![]()
ByeObviously Selles is not the right man but if he goes and Wilder comes back I’ll be done with Utd.

It didn't have to be forever did it? It just didn't have to change this summer either.
Fair do’s. Fully accept what you’re saying. If this carries on pal, we'll be a less than solid League 1 club.
Given a choice between you or Wilder being at the Lane, it wouldn't be a difficult decision for me.
But they wont they'll have corporate back slapping events to attend in silicone city. Might get round to it in say 10 games time, when they have a window!the board need to act tonight
It is madness how he runs with the same set up when it’s so bleeding obvious looking at stats we don’t have a shot on target in all matches this season.Selles is clueless. Once again starting with the same midfield with Hamer and O'Hare in it. Neither suited to playing there.
What is his plan or playing style? It doesn't look like we have one to me.
When we do have the ball, the plan appears to be piss about with it meaninglessly at the back until we get pressured then someone (usually Cooper) launches it downfield, but unfortunately half the team are back in our half having been party to the pissing about at the back, we lose it, opposition attack us through our weak midfield and then we are left to desperately defend then rinse and repeat until opposition score. Even then, there's no urgency, we still play like we're one up, not one down.
Just makes me angry watching us. I can't imagine what the players are thinking.
Other baffling decisions today :
Brings Cannon on when a goal down, despite the lad being bereft of any confidence or footballing ability. He got the ball twice and fell down meekly both times.
Brings McCallum on for Godfrey, changes formation with One going to right wing back, even though we had Seriki on the bench - just bizarre.
If it wasn't for Tanganga today it could quite easily have been 3 or 4.
Looking at that video sent from a blade at boro, he looks shellshocked, for your own sake Ruben, agree a package with the board and resigmAfter that playoff capitulation?
After wasting how many millions...again?
After screwing up a great advantage against the relegation teams?
No thanks, it was time to move on.
Also what would have waiting another season have achieved with regards to getting another manager????
We could have been in the same situation next season as well with regards to getting someone new in.
This manager obviously isn't working but wilder also was not the answer.
No chance. All those know nowts who wanted Wilder gone, happy now?
We dont score enough, yeah all those 1-0 wins, shit eh
His subs are baffling
He left O Hare on the bench too long at Wembley
96 points, we are seeing the squad dismantled because of the boards criminal decision to get rid of him
Keep Wilder, 3 or 4 new faces, promotion
Set us back years this board
Has it dried yet?He has to go now. Awful awful, clueless. I stopped watching at half time, I had some paint to watch dry!!
Maybe time to go then?Obviously Selles is not the right man but if he goes and Wilder comes back I’ll be done with Utd.

If it meant finishing 4th bottom at this stage, i think it would be the right move.If it meant bring Wilder back to finish in the playoffs would we take him back?
