A disaster of a manager

Selles is clueless. Once again starting with the same midfield with Hamer and O'Hare in it. Neither suited to playing there.
What is his plan or playing style? It doesn't look like we have one to me.
When we do have the ball, the plan appears to be piss about with it meaninglessly at the back until we get pressured then someone (usually Cooper) launches it downfield, but unfortunately half the team are back in our half having been party to the pissing about at the back, we lose it, opposition attack us through our weak midfield and then we are left to desperately defend then rinse and repeat until opposition score. Even then, there's no urgency, we still play like we're one up, not one down.
Just makes me angry watching us. I can't imagine what the players are thinking.
Other baffling decisions today :
Brings Cannon on when a goal down, despite the lad being bereft of any confidence or footballing ability. He got the ball twice and fell down meekly both times.
Brings McCallum on for Godfrey, changes formation with One going to right wing back, even though we had Seriki on the bench - just bizarre.

If it wasn't for Tanganga today it could quite easily have been 3 or 4.

The only way that would he classed as fast is if we were playing in an OAP league.

He has to be sacked tonight there is no ifs or buts.

If this carries on pal, we'll be a less than solid League 1 club.
Given a choice between you or Wilder being at the Lane, it wouldn't be a difficult decision for me.
 
Clueless ..same tactics over & over , wide open down the flanks , overrun in midfield & more importantly creating absolutely fuck all with no discernible pattern of play ..awful
 
As others have previously stated he has to go tonight but let's all be realistic, Dyche and Cooper will not be coming to this football club. They would have zero interest. From finishing 3rd to now finding ourselves rock bottom with zero points, it shows the people at the top have no idea what they are doing. Wouldn't shock me if these american owners go for Sausage Rohl.

Strap yourselves in because it's going to be a horrific season.
 

Just because the owners need to admit they made a mistake. They need to correct it and find a new manager fast. Selles is way out of his depth it is obvious. 12 points back rock bottom of the league getting to be too far behind to have a chance at making that up over a whole season. Stay with Selles you are writing the season off.

No thanks, it was time to move on.

Also what would have waiting another season have achieved with regards to getting another manager????

We could have been in the same situation next season as well with regards to getting someone new in.

This manager obviously isn't working but wilder also was not the answer.
 
It's basic stuff.

If you play 5 attack-minded "luxury" players in front of a young inexperienced centre midfielder and a left back whose main strength is getting forward, then teams are going to walk through you.

To react to that by bringing on 3 out and out strikers is criminal.
 
I am ashamed, I saw this coming when he was appointed. Doesn't feel good to be right though.

He must go, especially when fans are comparing him against David Weir. Which is already a low bar to start with and Weir has the better record so far!!!

96 points, we are seeing the squad dismantled because of the boards criminal decision to get rid of him
Keep Wilder, 3 or 4 new faces, promotion
Set us back years this board

It is madness how he runs with the same set up when it’s so bleeding obvious looking at stats we don’t have a shot on target in all matches this season.

Looking at that video sent from a blade at boro, he looks shellshocked, for your own sake Ruben, agree a package with the board and resigm

Thing is, it's everything

We have lost all the games we have played in

We have scored 2 goals

We haven't scored for over 5 hours

We have no points

In both away games we haven't managed a shot on target

I can live with the defeats if I could see where all this was going. Hard to see that at the moment.

I still think judge him after 10 games,but realistically he needs to win the next 5 to give himself a 50/50 shot

No chance.
3 or 4 new faces. Who would they be. No doubt some shite expensive flop.

Problem is they’ve replaced Wilder with another Wilder.

I’m pretty sure Selles won’t last but the board need a MANAGER.

I actually feel sick to my stomach…….

This is awful on a whole new level, how can everyone else, fans, pundits, commentators see what’s wrong with the team but Selles doesn’t… words fail me, he’s absolutely clueless.

Get Cooper, Dyche, or god I can’t believe I’m saying this Wilder in even if it’s just for a year.
