Earlier today with the signings, promotion was done.

Now after a poor performance with small margins due to the linesmen, top 6 is out of the picture.

It changes fast!

Sunderland fans saying that could be a season wrecker for us and it's them and Leeds going up 🤮

Need to come back strong with a full week rest next game, UTB

That first half was almost as bad as Tuesday was. Difference here is nothing changed

Not the reason we lost, and Gilchrist had another stinker, but we finally had an actual midfield pair on & we then immediately sub off Gilchrist to play with Peck at rb & Brewster in a weird cm role… baffling.

Will cut Wilder some slack as we’re a bit patched up but throwing on 5 attackers without a midfield or defence is pointless. Completely out thought by Selles who looks a very good manager.

He's absolutely clueless. Outmanaged again

Extremely hard to watch this. Being dominated, and there's seemingly nothing we can do to break out of it.

So much is going against us, and we seem to get very little in return.

Get sent to South Wales on a Tuesday night with a threadbare squad and win. Players get home at 4am on Wednesday. The reward? Playing again 64 hours later, against a side who, though they also played on Tuesday, were at home, rather than several hundred miles away.

We're relying on a core of 6 or 7 players to feature every game, without fail, because everyone around them is falling to injury. We're short one of those tonight (Hamer), largely because he's gotten himself booked for some stupid reasons in previous games.

And the players who are available as backup, we can't rely on. Robinson has replaced Souttar, but is simply not capable of playing at this level. We can't rest Burrows, because we're having to use him in midfield. But whoever fills in for him at LB isn't good enough (RND in particular).

Everyone has injuries, but when you're putting 2 keepers on the bench because you've no other options to fill out your subs, you know it's a crisis. And yet we're still in the promotion race.

We absolutely can still get promotion. Still got to play Leeds and Burnley again. If we have bodies in to fill out the squad, we can compete. The club has to get it right on the transfer front with the time we have left in the window. Definitely need one CB, probably 2 if possible, and at least 1 in midfield too.

Depending on what reinforcements we bring in, we will still have a major part to play at the top of the table. Just write tonight off, and go again next week at Derby.

What the actual fuck was that. Players just gave up mentally and looked like they couldn’t be arsed all evening. Massive opportunity with Leeds playing Burnley and we decide to help them both. Fuck off

Great to see vini back

Gilchrist miles off it. 0 /10

No idea where Brewster was playing.

Campbell looks a player but needs service.

Raksaki great tricks, but needs to provide end product more consistently.

Robinson as clumsy as ever, and makes wrong choice often.

Too many sideways and backwards passes. Not enough penetration.

Been sucker punched for all three of their goal.

Forgot this games blades and try to enjoy the weekend doing anything else.

Yeah, I didn't get that change at all. We went from a period of looking threatening before the second goal to just looking shapeless. Completely conceded the middle of the park when Peck moved. Brewster was looking good on the left wing before that as well. The game might have already gone but that sealed it.

Souza needs to be able to start, next week (not that he changed much) but the burrows at CM experiment needs to end, get JJK through the door asap to Gilchrist and RND trying to out compete each other for shittest fullback performance this week

Not gonna shit my pants about this as lots will.
We desperately need to replace Souttar. JLT and Anel is NOT the answer.
Play Burrows at Left back.
Buy some creativity for the middle of the park. Urgently.
We are neither a counter attacking team / possession based team / big physical side / pressing team. Just what is our ‘Style’?
Bizarre bringing Brewster on to play left wing. Why not put Brooks there and JRS on the right.
Brooks / JRS - RUN AT DEFENDERS AND COMMIT THEM!
if we have a chance to cross first time - do it.

We looked devoid of ideas of how to break down a narrow defensive counter attacking team tonight. Our set up played directly into their hands.

That said - we still had 3 or 4 really clear opportunities to score.

Put it to bed and move on. Hopefully it’s a kick up the arse at the right time that we can learn from.

Credit to Hull, good defensive shape and quick on the break.

Learn the lesson, then can just write tonight off as a blip. Can’t be this sloppy again.

Need two CM’s & a CB in the window.
We were this bad on Tuesday night in the first half. This is far from a one off. We've not looked great in games we've been winning.

All credit to Hull. Excellent away performance. Team scrapping at the bottom looked a lot more up for it.
I’d still rather be on our position than theirs though.
Time for a regroup and move on. Can’t win ‘em all.

That was truly awful, off it from the start. Mistakes galore. Really hope it’s just a blip & can get back to form.

Waste of a shirt… Rhian Brewster in midfield. I like Rhian but after scoring and looking sharp he’s been short changed there (again). No midfield shape or plan, playing it along the back without ball playing centre backs. We look clueless and tactics very poor. Again, square pegs in round holes for baffling reasons. Would actually like wingers, rather than “inverted wingers” starting from right in the corner and needing to beat three men to lay it off to someone on 18 yard line who then needs to score a worldy. We aren’t playing percentages at all.

Completely agree mate, feels like Wilder panicked at going 2 down & just chucked JRS on for another attacker without any plan.

As you say we’d been on top since HT and we still had 25 mins+ left at that point. We just needed to keep doing what we were after the first few changes & get the first goal, but after that they dominated & it became a non-event.

Same as Burnley actually - at 2-0 we just seemed to accept it was beyond us.

To be fair HB only there because so light with injuries and suspensions.
