Noticed in The Sun on Sunday that the Blades are willing to let him go for 15mil what they bought him for ??

Think that is just paper talk nonsense.

You’d expect if he has a release clause, that it would be in excess of 20m and then the population of clubs who would pay that for a soon-to-be 27 year old must be quite low.

But then it depends how much interest we have for other players and how much we need the money.

if we do sell hamer which i hope we dont 20m has to be the starting price

I was disappointed with his second half performance on Saturday.

He looked absolutely knackered.
Lost possession for their third goal.
I'm sure for their second goal he was one of two players that gave away the free kick.

As another poster said, it will depend on his release clause. Bear in mind he'll also have a wage reduction kicking in, all things considered I can't see us keeping hold of him.

Why not? He's under contract for at least 2 more seasons. For me Hamer and Arblaster are none negotiable. We have to have some hope next season and if they go that extinguishes it. Souza and Anel can fuck off but not these two.

Don't get me wrong I'd love both to stay.
I can't see anyone offering enough money to tempt us to sell Arblaster.
However if the relegation clause for Hamer is correct, we probably lose him.
Souza and Anel I'd love to see the see the back of, just hope we can get some decent money.

FFS we are so tinpot- We gave the Prem zero ambition, and before the dust settles on a truly horrible period in our history; our best players we already feel are sold from underneath us straight away.

It's so annoyingly low level. The lack of proper planning, foresight is astonishing - we deserve to be in Div 2 because that's how we are ran - it's all so seat of the pants wankness.

He is a quality footballer who make things happen. However, he gets sloppy too often. He didn't cost us the game with any mistakes he made but he when we needed his magic he only produces it occasionally. You would think a goal and an assist would make you think he played well. But it's in parts. Wilder needs to get him more involved in the offense if not "the" playmaker. Everything should go thru the feet of Hamer. How? I would like to see him as the 10. O'Hare to play off Hamer. Those two on their day will scare every team in the Championship. We need to get them too on the their day every game. Not too much to ask!! Ahem.

Looks like people on here know a thing or two, was unplayable more central last night.

Wasted on the wing but at least 4 people agree with Wilder!

He’s best centrally and Ohare is best when Gus is close to him.

Our best moves last night were the one touch stuff between them and Souza.

He is a genuine flair player and was streets ahead of the opposition last night.

Last night he, alongside Souza and O’Hare made the game look easy.

Two fantastic assists from central areas.

He was unplayable at times last night, albeit against a side we were clearly levels above.

Well you are wrong
He played on the left of the three like in every game. Watch back some highlights, at every restart he's on the left in front of McCallum.

Once we get the ball on the edge of their box the three are more fluid, and we were in that situation often.

He played in the same position he always does...

Exactly.

The switched on people understand that the 3 behind the striker are all fluid and transitional.

There were times last night Rak-Sakyi was playing central with O'hare on the right.

Times Hamer played centrally with O'hare on the left.

And times O'hare was most central.

It's as if some people on here see a formation on the screen and believe it's completely static lol

More fluid so he was in the middle more last night? Is that what you’re saying?

I said he played more central, not that he played down the middle. It was only a couple of sentences, not sure how you don’t understand what I was saying..lol

They've tweaked things tactically in the last few games. Pressing patterns, restart positions, off the ball movements. O'Hare and Hamer are dovetailing and switching roles depending on the in game situation. If we had a birds eye view of the game we could work out exactly what they are doing and when.

Hamer hasn't been playing on the left because Wilder thinks it's his best position. Utter nonsense. It's to do with the personnel at our disposal.

thought mcallum had a good game at left back last night for me burrows could play left midfield and would be higher up the pitch to get crosses in and shots on goal

My Cov mates last weekend were of the opinion "You're playing him where?!"

Box to box and watch him go, apparently.

They very much see this as a Leon Britton being used as a number 10, all over again.

At some point we have to use Hamer and O'Hare in their preferred positions.
