Two correct VAR decisions thankfully.

Worried about the first one initially but his legs kicking up should have been the obvious pointer to him exaggerating the push.

Wasn't confident the VAR would see that though.

Trying to work out our gameplan here. We just seem to be launching long. Fucking shocking. An embarrassment this so far. Can’t hold the ball for more than 2 passes.

I didn’t say it was a pen, but two handed push in the back is often given, I wouldn’t have had any complaints had it been given though…. And using another incident is irrelevant as each ref and var have a mind of their own.
Oh i agree, and i think pushes in the back should always be a foul, but they set the standards and need to be consistent

Fella, brit players and managers are just as bad. See howe and cooper teams
I agree plenty of individuals are but these to a man are over-exaggerating most contacts.

Even the players who weren't as bad under Smith.

As a teenager one of my best mates had a cousin who grew up in Spain (one parent English one Spanish).

This was the 80s and even he used to have the attitude that diving was a legitimate skill back then when it was bizarre to us.

We have far too many players not good or confident at this level, backs to the wall every away match. Feel sorry for Archer,a drought ridden African has more scraps to feed on at the moment . Huge job for wilder.

Its made its way into the football culture in the UK now. For.me Howe's teams are the worst for it, when he was at bournemouth it was like playing against a team of larry graysons 🤣
