Despite being very unsure about Wilder coming back, when I listen to that interview it gave me back a bit of hope and I haven’t felt that for a long time. I would love to think he starts making us into Sheffield United again and not the poor, no hope, no idea, no enthusiasm group we have become.

Lets see after 5 games (Liverpool, Brentford, Chelsea, Villa and Luton)
I’d take 2 points from that group of matches, pretty much 4 nailed on losses so will give him time to get his ideas across before Luton but still think 2 points would be realistic, could well be 0 but I’m not judging him on the first 4

I know some aren't happy, you're entitled to your opinion but get behind the team at least, it still says Sheffield United as far as I'm aware on the front of the stand. We can't go on as we were, Wilder wil get the team playing with an intensity, desire, aggression, for me that's an instant improvement already.

I felt he should have stayed before, he's said so in the interview too. Let's see how we do 'ey, give the man a chance.

Andrews seems very astute in his summaries. Often highlighting aspects of play that most pundits wouldn't spot. I don't think he'll be a yes man either, so it's a good start by Wilder, to even contemplate a different view. UTB
I'm hoping Andrews will get a hold of Sousa and improve him , do we know how far off Davis and RND are , CW could be walking back in at the right time.?

On balance I’m going with this because I’m in the ABH camp. (Anyone but Hecky) and the only known person on the planet Wilder has ever taken a shit performance from is Lundercuntstram. He may be an arrogant bullying mardy shit, but unlike with Hecky you can guarantee there will be violence in the changing room if anyone takes the piss with effort given. Just rankled that he is supposed to have said “when Sheffield United come calling you have to answer”. Didn’t think about that last time eh? It was just gimme the money.

Tomorrow night is definitely is almost like a cup tie type of game in the sense of David vs Goliath nothing really to lose. Although Brentford at home, i can see us nicking a point. Luton is 100% a must win if you stretch to game 5. Don't mind getting dicked 5-0 vs Liverpool if we actually were putting in effort and the are genuinely just that good, its the lack of effort that is the most worrying part. Should be a cold night, you never know get the sprinklers on to make the pitch greasy and stop them from playing.

So there's a press conference going in, I assume that will be on later. Would be good to see a video of Wilder coming back into the Lane, the training ground etc. I look forward to the first training inside Shirecliffe video also!

Wilder going in two footed on Souza. Just to send a message to the rest of the squad.

If McCall couldn't do that than I doubt Andrews would. Given the player McCall was in his day.

He seems to hint that what happened at the end of his previous tenure was a mistake. I think at the time he was mentally shot, we were in a hopeless position and at the time I thought he should have been told to have time off and come back refreshed for the Championship. - if he hadn't had such a successful time previously I wouldn't have thought that.
I've always thought 'never go back' but in this case I just hope it works out

I didn't want him back and I'm not convinced that he'll get close to renewing the special bond between the club, players and fans this time around even in the long term. BUT he's our manager again and so I back him 100% and wish him all the very best. I hope he really sticks it to me and proves me wrong.

Well, dunno can he (or anyone) keep us up, but atleast there is some changes (I really hope there is)..
Maybe Brewster will get his time in the spotlight

All of a sudden I have a thirst for Peroni

I can't bring myself too watch that
Just look at that smug grin, he is one lucky bugger shouldn't be managing above 2nd Division total loser...
No other Premiership club would even mention his name if they had a managerial vacancy and probably only Rotherham would consider him in the Championship.
