I really don’t get the Akpom signing it goes against absolutely everything they’ve done and said this window it’s mamadness

I don't particularly want him either but I'm not this dramatically against it. If he comes then I'll get behind him. I think he's capable I just don't like targeting injured players and I think his previous record is worrying.

The point is, as people have repeatedly said, his goal tally before last season was woeful. McBurnie and Brewster have both had good scoring records in odd seasons as well.

Yes we may not get anyone else right now but people underatandably have reservations. If we blow our budget on him and he's shite again then we're down.

If we're buying a striker we have to get it right because our goal threat is seriously diminished from last season in a lower league.
