Play him in midfield against City, we’re not gonna have the ball so might as well play him for the extra legs. Definitely don’t wanna watch a Jimmy Fleck horror show at Wembley.

Wes
Baldock. Anel. Egan. JLT. Lowe
Bash Norwood. Berge
N’Diaye.
Jebbison

Agree. However, Norwood, legs?

Christ, even Basham himself says he hates midfield and can't play there....

Against City I would move Bogle into right midfield and have Baldock at rwb, hopefully Lowe will be back on the left. If Norwood and Fleck start in midfield the game is over before it starts. We'll be mullered. At least Brooks and Coulibaly as they showed v Spurs have the legs.

Better to have someone who knows his limitations than Norwood and Fleck who both think they can play there, or this fucking ridiculous suggestion people keep making of Bogle in midfield.

I’d move Bogle to the canteen

Bogle has shown tonight that his positional play leaves an awful lot to be desired. The last thing we need is him wandering about aimlessly allowing their midfield to play straight through us.

Even going forward he will be no use. It takes him until his 14th touch to get the ball under control. The rare occasions we do get forward he’ll have 1 or 2 touches at most to make his mind up. He wont even get as far as dribbling it straight out of play.

Both bogle and Lowe were flying before they got injured, since returning both have been very mediocre. Norwood has given the ball away far too often, berge is berge and doesn't mark anyone. You can't replace them with Fleck as he is too old too slow and very infective I will say tho that United were by far the better team before Wes lost his bearings, why Robinson didn't just hoof it out is beyond me.

Case for Bash at RCB with furious returning to his accustomed RWB position and pushing AA in to an RCM position ??

Would need some work on training pitch to adjust (it might not work) but thinking of Wembley in particular, a midfield of SB (holding playmaker) flanked by AA and JohnF might be the best we could hope for !

What a stupid suggestion. Bogle shouldn’t even get on the bus. Never mind playing in midfield
