Talented lad. He's played a half doesn't senior games but it's hard to tell how well he did as obviously the players around him were a bit better than our.

I'm still confused where everyone is playing. If he's going to replace Fleck I do wonder who is going to tackle in midfield. He looks a bit lightweight from what I've seen. Bit like a young Mount but more so.

Over here in Stockport, my City supporting mates, most of whom turn up to games & have seen McAtee play, rate him very highly & as the best talented prospect coming through at the moment.
Although lightweight in stature, he’s excellent on the ball & great attitude, now needing regular games to really push on. They are pleased he’s coming to us rather than a possible struggling Premier league side or sitting on their bench. They also said don’t get used to him, he is expected to be a first team regular for them.
We’ll see, but hopefully it goes well for him & us.

As I've said before, with at least 21 games in the next 15 weeks, 13 weeks if you take out the international break, then there is no first eleven. Expect rotation as you've never seen before. Even more so with 5 subs.

I can't stop myself from drifting into 'The Stripper' music when I try and sing that in my head. Much in the same way that every time I try and hum the theme from The Six Million Dollar Man, it turns into the theme from Emmerdale Farm about 15 seconds in.

This is exciting - we finally have some players who can hopefully excite the crowd.

Went for years without a maverick creative player until Gibbs white. Now we have 3 in McAtee, khadra and N’daiye.

They are going to lose the ball and try stuff that doesn’t always come off but we should let let keep going without getting in their backs as there are some match winners right there!

And they will all be on bench while we get bored to death of fleck Norwood and Berge

Norwood still has something to offer but what really does piss me off these days is his set pieces. When he was in form in the Championship pre promotion he could put a pin point ball into the box and at least got his direct free kicks on target. Getting those right doesn't require him to still be in his 20's.

Fleck like I have been saying all week that I think he is done at this level OR he is unwell (suffering with post COVID issues?).

Yes, I totally forgot about that too. I think COVID and that has had an impact on him. I could be wrong but it does make sense.

Absolutely brilliant - so skillful the next Foden. We wanted him to stay and break in this year. Played about 10 games last year and every big club wanted to buy him. Basically he's Debruyne replacement plan
Look after him and enjoy.
