What's the crack with tickets for this then? I've bought one, and downloaded the UEFA Tickets app but the FAQ's I read said that I need to connect to the internet to load my ticket, and it won't be activated till about 11am on the day of the game, yet I've already got a notification in the app that my ticket is there. Can I view the ticket/load it now and download/screenshot it or do I have to wait till it has been activated on Sunday before I can access it?

It also says I need to have my Bluetooth turned on and I need to assign tickets? There's only me so do I still need to assign the ticket? And why on earth do I need my Bluetooth on?

I was expecting the ticket to just be emailed TBH.........

I see others have tried to advise. Probably better if I don't dig you in any deeper. I'm not going to any games in the Women's EUROs. So I'd be hopeless on the specifics of those tickets.

But, yes, the UEFA system I've used at the Nations League in Portugal & the 2021 EUROs requires Bluetooth activation of tickets near the turnstiles, at a cordon. A steward waves a wand at your phone & the ticket turns green, they let you through & the QR code appears on your ticket.

(I've got my own mobile ticket fiasco to negotiate from Friday onwards. I'm at the World Athletics Championship in Eugene, Oregon).

I think pretty much all the knockout games have sold out at all venues. I had a look around the other day, and there were a few tickets here and there.

I did wonder if they just hadn't been released yet, but, for instance, the official website said the final had Sold Out.

It would make sense (and there would be precedents) for the organisers to hold on to some tickets till they knew which teams were in, say, the final, so maybe that "Sold Out" means sold out of the ones currently available, and more tickets will be released later.

Or maybe not.

Yes, likely there will be tickets available.

For Qatar, for example, all international tickets are sold out already, but residents still have plenty available.

I think it should be obligatory to say ‘for a lass’ whenever referring to any woman sportsperson’s achievements. For example “great serve there by Williams, for a lass” just so that no one thinks someone like Ellen White is as good at football as Wayne Rooney, because otherwise people might think that.
